Its dark and its raining here in Brackley this morning, my usual day out, and then start to pack again for those few days away.

Good morning Mick and all to come. Very dark here in Northampton, but at least it's dry.
Off to Milton Keynes on the bus today - I have an M&S voucher to spend, which expires in a few days, and as they closed the Northampton store in August, it's one of our nearest. Will probably treat myself to lunch out!
Hope you have a good weekend, Mick.

Good morning Mick supposed to be another fine day here today, fingers crossed. To dark outside at the mo to see what it is like weather wise. Busy this morning then off to the hospital this afternoon for a pre admission assessment prior to having a procedure done later this month. Have a good trip Mick.

Morning Mick and All.

Half light and clear in South Bucks.

Have a great Tinsel and Turkey weekend Mick. The thread will be safe in Nina’s hands.

Off to collect our old car which has been serviced in readiness for moving on.

Good Morning all from a very wet Black Country.

Had the roofing bloke yesterday to give a quote, but he is fully booked for next 2 weeks and the leak is now dripping in the living room and the weather forecast isn't too good for next few days!

I plan to go to Merry Hill today and try to use my Next voucher given for my birthday in September, then buy the Christmas cards! grin

DD phoned yesterday to say the house they had an offer rejected on 2 weeks ago, the offer has now been accepted! They obviously didn't get a better offer. I am so pleased as they were really keen on this house and it's location.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all from a fairly calm and dry North Leicestershire.

Volunteering this morning while our lively once a year gardener comes to do some of the heavy work. Then getting my feet done thus afternoon.

This evening, the insides of our grandfather clock are being returned. It will be strange to hear the chimes again as it has been at the menders for about 6 months. The empty case has been weird standing in the hall. And, we would welcome any donations to the repair fund. grin

Hope you are enjoying the new car Kate.

Good morning everyone.

Still in bed but I can't hear rain or wind which is what we had all day yesterday. It's a fairly mild 11c too.
Well Christmas is definitely on it's way, I started my non perishables food box yesterday.
A day of pottering for me. Enjoy whatever your doing.

Good morning Mick and all you early birds.
Dawn is just coming up here and weather doesn't look to promising here in Glasgow.

We have DGD today, but not sure of our plans, as the weather forecast is rain. Looks like a day of painting masterpieces and some baking.
Hopefully the electrician will turn up to finish off the kitchen.

To those shopping, I hope you have some success, using your vouchers.
travelsafar, good luck with your appointment. I'm not looking forward at all to mine tomorrow .

Mick, you will be an expert at packing for these trips now. grin

That bad eh kitty shock

We have a beautiful wall clock with Westminster chimes. Except the chimes are turned off as they are so loud.

NanKate Thu 08-Nov-18 07:05:21

Thanks Kitty I am zooming around the local countryside like Toad of Toad Hall ?

Marydoll Thu 08-Nov-18 07:08:06

Yes, but have you silenced the Sat Nav yet, Kate? wink

Good morning everyone x

Morning Mick, Morning All from a still grey and damp corner of Somerset. Not quite as damp as yesterday so there is hope. Off to the big blue and yellow store today then I also have an M&S voucher expiring. Could see nothing I wanted to bring home yesterday, must try harder. Hope Thursday is kind to everyone.

kittylester Thu 08-Nov-18 07:21:08

corner can I give you a list? Save us having to attack the big Blue and yellow store. They gave extended ours and reorganised it - it's a blinking nightmare.

Ours has Westminster Chimes nina, which always seemed to join in when I was answering DH'S practice phone which was on the desk in the hall - noon was quite a popular time for people to ring. shock

Good morning, another dark day here in Devon. Off to the library soon as a volunteer, then a chill out day. Have a good one.

Gagagran Thu 08-Nov-18 07:31:31

Morning all! Looks like a better day here on the south coast after the heavy rain which developed yesteday. I felt so sorry for the poor bedraggled chaps on the building site opposite and road widening outside our house.

Not much on the agenda today but things always seem to turn up.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. Have a good weekend away Mick. sunshine

Brunette10 Thu 08-Nov-18 07:37:11

Morning everyone. Lovely sky here in Fife today, not sure what the day will bring though weather wise. Everyone sounds quite busy today, enjoy! Im off to get hair trimmed then some food shopping. Perhaps off to a the big garden store who have 20% off starting today so will probably go and get some more Christmas shopping done. Hope all are well and to those not feeling great - try and relax.

aggie Thu 08-Nov-18 07:42:59

NfkDumpling Thu 08-Nov-18 07:45:08

Morning All

And a lovely bright sunny morning it is too here in Norfolk.

A busy day ahead. Hair cut at nine, then off to do a bit of volunteering until its time to collect DGS from school and childsit until around nine, then calling in at DD’s on the way home. It should all go like clockwork.

Pittcity Thu 08-Nov-18 08:02:14

Good morning from sunny Colchester. A bright dry day today.
Nothing on the calendar, but busy tomorrow so taking it easy I hope.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 08-Nov-18 08:03:05

Goodmorning all x

Bright blue sky in SE Essex.

Today the people are here to build/assemble the wardrobes, drawer and dressing table units in our bedroom. I have not had a "dressing table" for 30 years!!!

I am now confined to the kitchen for 2 days. Week 7 of these renovations and I am beginning to get anxious that we shall be in this mess at Christmas.

Wishing you all a stress free day.

Willow10 Thu 08-Nov-18 08:07:18

Good morning all. Bright and unseasonably warm in East Northants. Used my M&S Sparks voucher on underwear last week - I wonder how much longer they will be able to keep offering them? Have a good day everyone.

EllanVannin Thu 08-Nov-18 08:37:38

Good Morning Everyone. x
Bright breezy and cool here in the North West. Off to see the nurse for my usual INR and blood results later. Flu jab debateable though will probably go ahead with it.
Was going to start my breakfast but too upset by the news on TV.

Anniebach Thu 08-Nov-18 08:44:18

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Will know today if the therapist will accept me as a client , if not !

Hope everyone has a good day x

Auntieflo Thu 08-Nov-18 09:00:20

Good morning Mick, Annie and all. It is lovely, sunny and bright here, at the moment.
Annie, I do so hope that you get accepted by the therapist, fingers and everything crossed for you. ?
To all those having work done in their houses, good luck, it seems to go on for ever, but it’s lovely when it’s finished.
Nothing much planned today, but I expect we will find something.
Have a good day one and all.
