Good morning Mick I like the sound of your trip to Gloucester Christmas Market .
Cold and dark here and I am sneezing ?? but that is not going to win as I have a lot on this week including one little DGS in London with Hand, Foot and Mouth who may need Granny on Wednesday and the Birmingham “run” on Thursday.
Saturday night’s “Nutcracker” was apparently out of this world. Can’t wait to see for myself next weekend!
Wishing you all a pleasant Monday.

NfkDumpling Mon 26-Nov-18 06:48:46

Morning Mick and Maw

It’s still and dark with a little light glimmng through the clouds in the east here in Norfolk. Hopefully it’ll get out sunny as it did yesterday.

Nothing planned for today so I may go into Norwich for a wander around and buy silly things.

If your ‘Nutcracker’ is as good as the one I went to on Saturday it’ll be fantastic Maw. Enjoy!

Good morning, still very dark in Essex by the sea. I have a very heavy cold, first one for years, and felt very unwell yesterday. Hardly slept last night, probably about 4 hours, but I am meeting DD1 and DGD5 at Bluewater and if I don't go I won't see them til after Christmas. I shall dose myself up and smile. I just hope the M25 plays ball this morning.
I hope you all have a very productive Monday.

dragonfly46 Mon 26-Nov-18 07:17:37

Morning all.

Sounds like you have a busy week Maw.

Hope you feel better today Sar.

Not much on today so not looked out yet. Will continue present wrapping and naming my mum’s items.

dragonfly46 Mon 26-Nov-18 07:32:18

DH tells me it is raining here in Leicestershire!

Blue45Sapphire Mon 26-Nov-18 07:34:48

Good morning all; still dark here in Northampton.
Yoga this morning, followed by coffee and chat afterwards with friends.
Expecting package to arrive today, so will have to leave outer porch door unlocked; they always seem to arrive when I'm out!
Hope all of you suffering feel better soon.

Good Morning to all and to those who follow. Still dark here in Fife but looks rather damp. Everyone sounds productive today - I have the dentist. I am also thinking of wrapping presents and writing cards as I fear time is rolling by very quickly. Hope you all have a good day. Chin up for those feeling under the weather, hope you feel better soon.

Gagagran Mon 26-Nov-18 07:40:24

Good Morning everyone!

It's not looking too bad outside this morning. The calm before the storm?

I am going to collect the paint from Wickes ready for the decorator starting on our hall and stairs next Monday. I have a busy week ahead so today is the best option. I shall also call at Aldi (next door to Wickes) to see what Christmas goodies they have in store.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

kittylester Mon 26-Nov-18 07:47:47

It is in this bit too, dragonfly!

Morning all. Late start for us after yesterday's massed Lesters event and today will be spent putting stuff back where it belongs.

Good morning from a brighter Scottish Borders. My cold is a lot better but it has been a bad one. Lemsip and Buttercup cough syrup help along with ginger tea.

I'll walk to the library today and perhaps begin card writing later.

Hope you all have a good day.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 26-Nov-18 07:50:58

Goodmorning all x

No idea what the weather is like as curtains are drawn.

Good morning Annie x

Hope you are feeling ok once you have dosed yourself up Sar, and you enjoy meeting up with your D and GD in Blue water. I have to go there sometime this week, but dread the journey home as it always seems worse than getting there!!

Hopefully off to the gym this morning, but GS is hasn't woken up poorly, so unless D can rearrange her work schedule I shall be on Granny duty.

Wishing you all a peaceful Monday.

Morning all it was just starting to rain as i went out to feed the birds about 7am this morning. My resident robin has already taken his fill for his breakfast. Glad i am staying at home today as it looks damp, grey and cold outside. Having an easy day as had my spinal injection yesterday after it was cancelled on Weds, so far so good no problems have arisen from it and although it feels sore this morning there is no real pain. Planning on finishing writing out Xmas cards and wrapping some more gifts. Also going to have a go at making a grains, greens and beans salad with advocado for evening meal. Bought the ingredients on Saturday so will be getting messy in the kitchen. All those of you suffering, I hope the day gets easier for you.

NannyJan53 Mon 26-Nov-18 07:58:26

Good Morning from a drizzly and grey Black Country. Not long up as Partner has a dental appointment this morning, so no early train station run for me smile

Usual Monday walk this morning, no real plans for the afternoon, probably make a start on writing Christmas cards.

Hope your cold eases Sar and you can enjoy the day .with your family.

I had a parcel delivered Saturday Blue45 in the one hour we were out!

Have a good Monday everyone.

gillybob Mon 26-Nov-18 07:59:19

Good morning everyone . Feeling extra tired this morning after a day clearing DD’s loft . Off to “that place” again, as sadly I didn’t win the lottery .

EllanVannin Mon 26-Nov-18 08:02:04

Good morning All x
Still have the light on here as it's darkish dull but doesn't feel that cold here in the NW and it's dry for the time being.

Waiting in for parcels once again which is the norm for me at this time of the year but at least I can get inside jobs done.
My internet went scatty yesterday but it looks as though it's righted itself. I'd missed a bid on ebay at the time and was paranoid that it had happened on purpose. Ah well it's not the end of the world.

Stay well and warm everyone.

ninathenana Mon 26-Nov-18 08:02:28

Morning everyone.

Dull, grey and gloomy in Kent.
Not much planned for today. DH will be busy in his workshop most of the day, so I may catch up on some TV recordings.
Good luck with M25 and the joys of Dartford Crossing Sar don't envy you at all.
Hope everyone not feeling good gets better sokn.

Greyduster Mon 26-Nov-18 08:04:00

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Glad you enjoyed the Christmas Market, Mick. It is trying to clear here today after a wet night. DH was very sick in the night for some unknown reason, so he is still in bed and I will have to keep an eye on him. May have to do the school run by myself this afternoon. Have a good day, folks.

Auntieflo Mon 26-Nov-18 08:07:32

Good morning Mick, Annie to come and all others. We did enjoy our few days away, but it is nice to be home again. Thought of you Mick as we travelled home, seeing the road signs to Brackley.
DH wants to pop into town this morning, and if I can persuade him, we may go into Reading and attack the shops.
I really must get my act together and start buying Christmas presents.
Shame about the No-win Lottery Gillybob
Have a good day one and all.

Gaggi3 Mon 26-Nov-18 08:14:11

Good morning, everyone. It's brightening here in the South-East. Up early, for me, as trying to make a Doctor's appointment. I rang on the dot of 8 and was number 14 in the call queue, hope I make it. Serves me right for trying on a Monday. Have a good day everyone.

Willow10 Mon 26-Nov-18 08:18:23

Good morning from a bright but damp East Northants. How do you even start Christmas shopping when everyone tells you they don't want anything? But then I'm just as bad - it's my birthday later this week and of course I don't want anything! wink Chemist, cat food, post office and coffee on the shopping list today. Maybe start the Christmas cards too. Hope those ailing feel better soon.

Pittcity Mon 26-Nov-18 08:19:20

Good morning from a grey, wet Colchester.
Walking Netball this morning.

NanKate Mon 26-Nov-18 08:28:00

Morning Mick and All.

Calm and cloudy in South Bucks. The lull before the storms forecast for the rest of the week.

On my second week of coughing but whatever I have got is slowly going. Hope I don’t choke when at the Dentists today. ?

aggie Mon 26-Nov-18 08:28:41
