Good Morning Michael! Another perfect day here in paradise! Now 5.30 pm and feels like 30C. Hope you've fully recovered after your Win10 shock and still interested to hear how it was all overcome. Have a good day! smile

Morning Mick, rufus, all.

It's very cold in North Leicestershire.

How many trips are you planning this year, Mick? We have nothing planned yet apart from DH going to a jazz festival.

Still on the hunt for cushions for the playroom today.

Beechnut Mon 28-Jan-19 06:36:39

Good Morning everyone.

Dark and dry. Should have some sun this morning on Severnside.
A friend and I have arranged to have coffee this morning. We haven’t seen each other for a while so a catch up will be lovely.
Hope to make a vegetable curry.

Have a good day all ?

Good Morning from a frosty Black Country.

A walk this morning, with a 'Walking for Health' group, we usually manage about 5 to 6 miles. Then this afternoon, probably ironing!

We have 3 holidays, and long weekend, booked so far this year Mick and I also have a 5 day break booked to take Mum on Warners Hotel break.

Good luck with your hunt Kitty, I always find that when there is something specific I am looking for, it cannot be found anywhere! Enjoy your coffee and chat with your friend Beechnut, my good friend moved 100 miles away 20 months ago, and I really miss being able to do that.

Have a good Monday everyonel

Good morning all!
It’s always nice planning for future holidays in the darkest months of the year isn’t it?
A bit like poring over the seed catalogues!
Still dark here in Moseley but off home once the boys have gone off to school I think. Yesterday’s football match was a draw 2-2 but DGS’s team were missing two of their best players . Delighted DGS scored one of the goals. It’s the first football match I have been to where if a player is hurt he gets a cuddle. (No not Birmingham City, local under 7-s!)
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Good morning all from a very frosty Northampton.
Yoga this morning then coffee afterwards.
Nothing else planned for the day, except make a shepherd's pie, which I just fancy for tea tonight.
Paid the balance yesterday for my Easter holiday this year, a river cruise on the Danube.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all! Looking like a beautiful day here in Leicester but cold! I am planning a lazy day today, trying to heal a pulled calf muscle which keeps recurring. I may sort through all my piles of recipes and file the ones I want.
We visited DD &SiL in their new home in Kent at the w/e then had our Christmas present of a trip to Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall. A thoroughly lovely weekend apart from driving into central London (2 1/2 hours) and then out ( an hour to reach the M1). That’s what started the calf off again - too much clutching!

Morning Mick, morning All from a cold, clear corner of Somerset. Off in search of cake decorations this morning. Hope Monday is kind to everyone.

1inamillion Mon 28-Jan-19 07:44:28

Good morning all from a very cold and clear Welsh coast.

Heat only just come on as pressure on the boiler was low.
Appointment in the bank at 10.

DH's cough and cold is still bad, dosing him up.
Wishing everyone a good day.

Gagagran Mon 28-Jan-19 07:46:11

Morning all! It's a cold, clear sky here on the south coast and the forecast has promised us SNOW overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Oh dear no - not the dreaded SNOW! I thought we had left that behind for good when we moved from the Pennines in 2003.

Still coughing like a starter motor and blowing sinuses inside out but slept a bit better so am hoping I am over the peak of this horrible lurgy. Any fellow sufferers have my sympathy.

No energy to do very much so shan't.

May the day be kind to us all.

Maimeo Mon 28-Jan-19 07:48:32

Good morning all from dark cold Wicklow. Heigh ho, Monday Schmonday....off to work for the busiest day of the week with some grumpy sick people but mostly cheerful patient sick people. Have a good day everyone!

dragonfly46 Mon 28-Jan-19 07:48:35

Good morning, as Nanny said loooking bright here in Leicestershire.

Sorting ou the dishwasher today which broke right in the middle of cycle so full of water and dirty dishes!

Tummy ache all night so not much sleep.

DoraMarr Mon 28-Jan-19 07:50:11

Good morning Micheal, Anniebach and everyone, from Birmingham, where there is a lovely golden glow on the Eastern horizon, and no frost as far as I can see from my fifth floor window.
I have my usual appointment this morning, and writing class this afternoon, and I’ll see my eldest daughter and my grandson for lunch. I am missing looking after him!
Yes, it is nice to plan a trip, in fact my partner thinks I enjoy the planning more than the holiday! (We do have quite complicated holidays: in April I have organised a trip comprising four hotels, seven separate rail journeys, one bus journey and an overnight ferry.) Safe journey, Maw, and have a good day everyone.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 28-Jan-19 07:59:42

Good morning all from a cold SE Essex.

Morning Anniebach x

No gym for me today as my pesky back is so sore I shall continue with the exercises my physio gave me last week and hopefully it will ease before I see her tomorrow.

I love planning holidays, we are in the early stages of planning our trip to India and I am a mixture of trepidation and excitement.

Keep warm and safe folks.

Mapleleaf Mon 28-Jan-19 08:01:03

Good morning,
It's a brighter day here, and very cold. No wind today, though, thank goodness.
Doctors appointment, then coffee morning. Need to go into town this afternoon, so a busy day today.
Those of you feeling unwell, I hope you soon feel better.
Enjoy your day if you can. ?

megan123 Mon 28-Jan-19 08:04:19

Good morning all. Cold and frosty here in the hills. Snow is forecast for tomorrow.
Take care and keep warm everyone.

angelic Mon 28-Jan-19 08:08:25

Good morning all from a cold, dull Hampshire. Feeling tired as not sleeping properly at the moment!
Planning a quiet day, might even go back to bed ??
Take care all

Pittcity Mon 28-Jan-19 08:11:48

Good morning from sunny Colchester. The wind has dropped, windows were rattling last night.
Walking Netball this morning.
I love planning holidays. We are off in 3 weeks time!

Marydoll Mon 28-Jan-19 08:12:09

Good morning Mick and al who follow. Mick, it's good you have some trips to look forward to.
It's -4° in Glasgow, but feels much colder.
A day of chores today, I already have bread in the breadmaker, as I can't be bothered going out to the shops and battling the numerous, temporary traffic lights near us.
Also, there a number of DH's new trousers waiting for me to take up hems.
Plenty to keep me busy.
I'm quite wheezy today, a sure sign we are in for some very cold weather.
Commiserations for all those are unwell. flowers

Brunette10 Mon 28-Jan-19 08:19:52

Morning everyone from a bright dry Fife. It's cold but nice and bright. Snow to come soon I fear. Going to have a trip to Stirling today looking at cars once again. DH not happy with response we got last week from Dundee garage. Hope everyone is well those not feeling great look after yourself. Have a good day.

ninathenana Mon 28-Jan-19 08:40:08

Good morning everyone.
Bright sunshine but flipping cold in Kent.
Off to the garden centre later, I have birthday vouchers to spend and they delicious cream teas.
Have a good day.

Greyduster Mon 28-Jan-19 08:47:36

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. As Maple says, bright and very cold here in South Yorkshire. The local dialectic term is “nitherin’”! But at least the wind has dropped. You could have leaned into it and not fallen over yesterday. I hope your footie match was warmer than ours, Maw! School run later on. Meat and potato pie to make this morning for dinner tonight. Have a good day folks.

harrigran Mon 28-Jan-19 08:52:12

Good morning, it is cold but dry here in the NE.
Fridge is empty so need to shop today and get stocked up before the snow arrives.
No thought of booking holidays, DH had to travel the world for his job and has had his fill of India, Africa and America. One place he did love was Chile but it is too far for me now.

Annapops Mon 28-Jan-19 08:55:40

Good morning all from a very sunny County Durham.

DGC have arrived for the day. Two happy cousins, one 3 the other 2. A drive in the car to the cemetery today to gather up those Advent Wreaths. I hope we are not asked to dig up great grandma which was once the request of GC number 4 who is now at school.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
