I ve often heard people talking about how children /young people somehow have much more of a sense of entitlement and are more indulged than certainly my generation or my children’s generation were
Today whilst waiting for my daughter I was sitting in the reception of a building, a family of three Dad, Mum and young son (approximately 2 years) came and sat down in the last two empty easy chairs Child then gives Dad a gentle push and Dad gets up and cockles on the arm of the chair to eat his sandwich so the little two year old could sit like the king of the tribe in the big easy chair
Just looking back there is no way an adult would get up for a small child The child would have been sat on one or other lap or as the floor was fully carpeted probably on the floor
This is not a critism or judgement simply an observation
