Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dull and misty but a dry start here in Brackley this morning.
Usual day of housework, then Buckingham and Bicester.
Coffee in my favourite cafes in those towns.
Mick

Good morning Mick and everyone. Another bright morning in Cheshire. We had a glorious day yesterday and I'm hoping for another today.

My wrens seem to have finished their nest and there is now a tiny hole in the front. I'm going to avoid using the steps down to the garden as I scared one yesterday.

Later going with my friend to visit an old colleague in a care home. She has dementia and it's difficult to know whether she knows it's us, but just in case, she'll know we haven't forgotten her. So sad.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning. Going to be bright and sunny again. Helps the mood. Hopefully going to cut the grass and then see a friend. Thinking about marydoll.

Good Morning to you all.
A dry and sunny start to the day on Severnside.
Dentist appointment first then off to the health centre to sort out my prescription. Back home to do some work and a bit of gardening.
Have a good day everyone ?

Gagagran Tue 30-Apr-19 06:40:07

Good Morning Mick, Ginny and everyone.

It's a grey start to the day here on the south coast and rather cool but we are forecast another nice day so hope they have got it right.

Shopping trip this morning and a bit of gardening later.

Hope your old colleague knows you Ginny and at least enjoys the visit.

Have a good day everyone. sunshine

Have a good Tuesday all x

Morning Mick, morning All from a chilly, sunny corner of Somerset. Off to see a worried friend today, bit of moral support. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

DoraMarr Tue 30-Apr-19 07:19:48

Good morning from a bright and sunny Birmingham. I’m back home after my trip to London to see my daughter, son in law and my grandaughter, who is two now! I’m going to a Lebanese restaurant with friends for lunch, but must do a bit of housework first.
I hope everyone has as good a day as possible.

Off out this morning for catch up/coffee with a friend then have DGS's briefly while DD gets birthday balloon for DGS1 3rd birthday tomorrow. Can't believe he is just about 3. Take care everyone.

Morning Mick and All.

Sun trying to come through the clouds in South Bucks.

Off to our favourite Coffee shop with DH then to rummage round Mountain Warehouse which has some good bargains at present.

I have a very long To Do List wonder if I will tick any of the items off today.

Miss you Marydoll come back soon.

Urmstongran Tue 30-Apr-19 07:30:35

Good morning everyone from another gorgeous start to the day here in sunny Malaga. I bet that’s why in the U.K. we talk about the weather more as it’s so changeable! Out here I would be pretty boring to keep saying ‘gorgeous again isn’t it?’ till mid December!

Happy 1st birthday to mini gillybobs ?

We fly home tomorrow afternoon so this is our last full day.
Hope Tuesday is good to us all whether we have plans or none. x

BlueSapphire Tue 30-Apr-19 07:31:27

Good morning everyone from a very misty Northampton.
Planning on a visit to Rushden Lakes today as I need to return something to M&S, and it will make a change from Milton Keynes. Perhaps some lunch out, and a good mooch around the shops.
Grass cut yesterday, and some massive dandelions dug out. Garden needs a good going over!
Hope your hospital visit goes ok dragonfly.

Good Morning from a sunny S Welsh coast. Woke at 6 but then went back to sleep, not like me. Having a cuppa, there's nothing like the first cup of tea of the day is there?

DH having a tooth extracted this morning and the mobile hairdresser at 10 am. Hope your dental appointment goes well Beechnut
A Happy Birthday to Evie ??? Gilly

Have a good day all and enjoy your coffees * Mick*

NannyJan53 Tue 30-Apr-19 07:33:14

Good Morning from a bright and sunny Black Country.

No real plans today, so will go with the flow, and probably phone my friend who came back from a holiday in California at the weekend.

Thinking of you today Dragonfly

Hoping Marydoll is back with us soon

kittylester Tue 30-Apr-19 07:34:03

Its misty in my bit of Leicestershire too, *dragonfky! Will be thinking of you this morning.

ginny there is evidence that the effects of a happy experience can last for ages afterwards for people with dementia so you are doing a good thing even if your friend doesn't really recall who you are.

Grammaretto Tue 30-Apr-19 07:36:56

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Looking like another gorgeous day here.
Thinking of Marydoll and Dragonfly

Justme67 Tue 30-Apr-19 07:50:13

Good morning to you all, an hour later than you Gagagran, and the sun has at last broken through on my part of the south coast. I have been busy searching the web for a suitable birthday gift for my daughter, think I found it. Off to another coffee morning this morning, it is becoming a habit, and had a lovely lunch out with the some of the same group yesterday. Miss the company of my lovely husband, funny how you can be lonely in a crowd. Enjoy your days, if you can.

ninathenana Tue 30-Apr-19 07:51:30

Morning all.
Grey and dull in Kent. Hopeful it will clear like yesterday when there wasn't a cloud in the sky from about 11am.
Taking DH to gardening job and then food shopping. Usual Tuesday routine.
dragonfly my thoughts are with you.

Mapleleaf Tue 30-Apr-19 08:07:16

Good morning,
Still misty here in South Yorkshire, but it is supposed to brighten up a bit later.
Meeting my friend this afternoon for a coffee and chat.
Supermarket this morning if I can motivate myself to go, though it won't harm if I wait until tomorrow.
Did well yesterday with the filing and shredding, so a job well done. I really must try to do it more regularly though, so it doesn't become a big job. ?
Thinking of you today, dragonfly ?, and Marydoll, I hope you are starting to feel a bit better and the hospital have sorted your meds for you.
Take care, everyone. I hope anyone feeling low or unwell soon feels brighter. ?

Auntieflo Tue 30-Apr-19 08:26:11

Morning Michael, Annie to come, and all. I should be up and about as the bin men came really early this morning, and woke us up, but can't get my act together, yet.
Housework to flit through and volunteering this afternoon, I do look forward to that.
Dragonfly, good luck with your appointment., and best wishes to Marydoll.
Hope the sun appears soon and makes us all, who are a bit down, feel better.

aggie Tue 30-Apr-19 08:29:54

Good Morning , wet here , not as cold as I expected . We went to see the Walled Garden at Hillsborough Castle yesterday, it was a cold drizzly day but we had a window of dry weather and thoroughly enjoyed our day . The gardens are lovely , lots of renovations still going on , we had some chats with people working in the Gardens and the Cafe , all really interesting and enjoying their work . One man gave us good advice and took us up to the Castle in the Golf buggy and showed us the best way to walk back down so we saw some beautiful vistas
Thoughts with dragonfly and Marydoll today xxx
