Good Morning Everyone,
Its another clear blue sky start here in Brackley this morning.
Usual Thursday routine to Buckingham and Bicester , reason I enjoy having these trips out, it breaks my week up.

Good morning Mick and all who follow. It's cloudy, but warm here in Glasgow.

I couldn't sleep, so pottering about to let DH sleep. He spent last night at A&E with his brother, who had too much fluid taken off during his dialysis yesterday. As my son says, "Will the drama never end?". I usually go to A&E with him, but I just wasn't up to it.
It seems I had night terrors twice during the night, never had them before and no recollection of the episodes. Poor DH is shattered.

I'm hoping to get into the garden today, if only to "supervise" DH. grin. I'm incredibly tired, which is so frustrating, as I'm normally on the go all the time.

Enjoy your day out Mick, I wish it was me!
Have a good day, all.

Morning all. Apols for all the games I've been adding to the top of the list.
Bright but cool here in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. Not usually up this early but I have a foster dog who so far has got me up at 1, 2.30, 3 and 5am. Been catching up here & on Mumsnet etc since.
Anyway, hope you all have better days than yesterday.

Sorry to hear about your problems, Marydoll.
Safe travels, Mick.

Good Morning everyone.
A bright dry start to the day here.
Take things steady Marydoll and you will get there.
I pumped up my bike tyres yesterday so I’m going to go out for a ride. There are a few new things to look at my end of town and then I’ll walk to the library and into town to get a garden magazine.
Hope today is kind and good for you all ?

Good morning Mick Mary and All.

Sunny but cooler day here in S Bucks.

Sorry to hear about the night terrors Mary you have gone through so much trauma recently I am not surprised. You were sensible to stay at home.

Seeing Doc about my tablets, then meeting a friend for lunch and after a brief rest will be going to the Library for a workshop on meditation.

Ginny42 Thu 16-May-19 06:52:34

Morning to Mick and everyone. Sorry to hear of your troubles Marydoll. Time in the garden should help restore some calm. Don't overdo things. You've been poorly, so be gentle with yourself.

I've been watching my wren singing away in the garden. Note that she's mine! Well she's nesting on my property! The sun's shining and the sky is blue. I'm off to painting. A new man joined last week and he's so good. I'm hoping to learn from him today.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all from a very bright North Leicestershire.

Marydoll, you are having quite a time at you house. I hope things settle down.

We had Wolfie (7 months) yesterday afternoon and both DH and I are completely shattered. I went to bed at 8,30. I have a trip to Sainsburys planned and then the hairdresser's.

Enjoy your days everyone.

Morning everyone.

Sunny start in Kent although rain is forecast later.
DGS1 is 10 today, he's excited to be in double figures smile we will video call after school tonight.
Meeting a friend for coffee this morning, it involves a bit of traveling. Hope the traffic is not too bad.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a bright and sunny ?Northampton.

Lovely electrician yesterday fixed my downstairs power problem so everything is plugged back in and I have Wi-Fi! Forgot to say that the electrician who came on Tues afternoon was an ex-pupil of mine - I remember him in my class back in the 70s when he was all of 6 years old!

Going up to DS's this morning for a shower, as I have to wait for a new hot water tank to be installed. I can cope without hot water so long as the power is on. Thank goodness the washing machine and dishwasher are cold fill.

Then this afternoon I am going to give ballet a try! A new class, Silver Swans, is starting today and a friend twisted my arm and signed me up. Can only give it a go and see what happens. Silver Swans is ballet for over 55s.

Hope all enjoy the sunshine today.

Good morning to you all, a lovely bright morning again, making the most of it, a kind friend is taking me to the bowls club so that I can sit and watch, or go for a walk, depends how I feel. Not a lot happening here, a bit cross that my hearing aids did not arrive so I could not have them fitted, another week with the old ones, but there again, compared to Marydoll I have little to complain about. Enjoy your days

Good morning Mick and all who follow. It’s a bright but slightly cloudy start here on the NE coast I don’t think it’s going to be as sunny as the last few days. My car is going in later to get the A/C fixed. Fingers crossed it’s an easy (meaning not expensive) job .

Marydoll I think maybe you have been trying to do too much too soon ! I know you are normally a very active person but sometimes your body tells you to slow down and that is what you need to do to make a full recovery. So be told woman ! grin My mum was on dialysis for many years and we had quite a few episodes of them taking too much fluid and her passing out . I don’t think many people fully appreciate how awful it is for dialysis patients and think it’s a case of plugging into a machine and relaxing which couldn’t be further from the truth.

Picked my dad, DD and Evie up straight from work yesterday to take them shopping . Not a quick in and out with my dad who examines every packet and tin at close quarters . He had to push the trolley with Evie in it and my DD and I were constantly looking for him ! DH and I ended up with bloomin’ fish fingers for dinner as it was late when I got back.

Last day of the SATS for DGD2 thank goodness. They are having a pyjama and film day tomorrow to celebrate which is lovely .

Anyway have a good Thursday everyone, on,y one more day in “that place” to go before the weekend . Yipeee x

Good morning, dry and bright here in the NE.
Yesterday didn't turn out as expected, had a phone call to say GD was not well so I had to spend the day with her. Weather was gorgeous but I spent all but 15 minutes indoors.
DH has lunchtime appointment again so waiting to see if I get another phone call before I plan my day.

Resurgam123 Thu 16-May-19 07:28:29

Hello is anyone there?

Brunette10 Thu 16-May-19 07:29:22

Morning all from a lovely sunny Fife. Another gorgeous day. Out this morning to hairdresser, then some shopping and off to neighbours for a barbecue at 6. Hope weather stays grin. Marydoll so sorry to hear about your BIL but you did the right thing staying home. Just do what your mind/body tells you. Hope today is good to all.

Resurgam123 Thu 16-May-19 07:29:33

Can I do that again please. Just to be sure.

gillybob Thu 16-May-19 07:30:12

Glad you got your leccy fixed Bluesapphire I was wondering if the electrician called you “Miss” all the time he was working ?

Enjoy your ballet. Love the name “silver swans” hope you don’t have to wear white tights and tutus. I think maybe I would be better suited to “old ducks” grin

Resurgam123 Thu 16-May-19 07:30:21

I will try once more.

gillybob Thu 16-May-19 07:31:20

Good morning Resurgam123 yes we are here. Are you new to GN? If so, a warm welcome to you.

Resurgam123 Thu 16-May-19 07:33:42

OMG I think I am back in GN
A long story but GNHQ has been very helpful for this slightly forgetful granny.

DoraMarr Thu 16-May-19 07:35:21

Good morning from a bright and sunny Birmingham. Going to collect my 2 year old granddaughter shortly, then we have pottery class, and after lunch a walk in the park. She was talking to me on the phone earlier in the week, describing a book she was reading, and I said “but I can’t see it !” “Well, put your glasses on, grandma,” she said.
Marydoll I hope your day improves.

NfkDumpling Thu 16-May-19 07:38:26

Morning All

Another bright, sunny morning in the north of Norfolk. And very still so we can enjoy the warmth. The breeze when it fills in is still from the NE and decidedly chilly!

A greenfinch flew into the garden room yesterday and luckily I was able to catch it before it harmed itself. We’ve seen a pair in the garden with a young one. The first in several years, so hopefully they’re making a comeback.

NfkDumpling Thu 16-May-19 07:39:58

Morning Resurgam. Are we allowed clues as to who you’ve resurged from?!

Resurgam123 Thu 16-May-19 07:40:48

To Explain I was Nelliemoser.

Resurgam, apart from being an early submarine, means "I will rise again."
And if you have any brass band playing relatives they might understand.
