I have just come across this phrase for the first time. The writer said her husband’s would be Scarlett Johanssen and hers, Aidan Turner. I think that makes the meaning clear. wink

So....Grans who would be yours?

Baggsy Adrian Dunbar before anybody gets in first grin

Wobbles Sat 18-May-19 09:35:28

George Clooney for me please
Or James Haskell, rugby player grin

Jane10 Sat 18-May-19 09:36:09

David Olusoga! Mainly for a nice chat though of course. wink

KatyK Sat 18-May-19 09:43:28

Years ago I could have thought of loads. Now I can't think of anyone. How sad. Martin Shaw maybe. Michael Bublé is cute. I'm going to see him on Tuesday so you never know grin He may be into almost 70 year old grannies!

DoraMarr Sat 18-May-19 09:49:26

Bill Murray. He would make me laugh, and I think he looks quite grizzled, so he wouldn’t mind me being quite grizzled too ( or whatever the female equivalent is. )

NotAGran55 Sat 18-May-19 09:49:57

Eric Clapton please .

fizzers Sat 18-May-19 09:59:42

I have a huge list..... too big for the forum smile

Beckett Sat 18-May-19 10:00:38

Ryan Reynolds - handsome, funny and self deprecating. Although I doubt he would be interested in a 70 year old overweight woman (especially when you see pictures of his gorgeous wife!)

DanniRae Sat 18-May-19 10:03:35

David Essex for me. He was so very handsome when he was young and he is still handsome as an older man wink

JessK Sat 18-May-19 10:13:51

Idris Elba for me please

kittylester Sat 18-May-19 11:16:48

Refus Sewell! David Essex!

DanniRae Sat 18-May-19 12:28:57

Er, excuse me kitty I don't know why you have put David Essex because he is mine.......... (Oh! I wish).
You can have Refus Sewell.......... that is not a problem........ (although I think we have similar taste in men because I quite like him too!!)

ninathenana Sat 18-May-19 12:32:38

crazyH Sat 18-May-19 12:38:08

Charleygirl5 Sat 18-May-19 12:45:20

crazyH not his corny jokes!

Anniebach Sat 18-May-19 13:04:30

John Humphries please, his voice and smile. Sorry Sarah .

The love of my life was Alan Rickman, but alas

Sara65 Sat 18-May-19 13:37:39

Annie
How could you! He could talk brexit to me all day

MawBroonsback Sat 18-May-19 13:43:42

Oh Alan Rickman (be still my beating heart!)
DD2 was once sitting beside him at some theatre luvvies’ dinner a few years back and she said he was quite animated and flirty.
She didn’t have the heart to tell him her Mum fancied him rotten!

sunseeker Sat 18-May-19 13:50:19

Beckett Can we please share Ryan Reynolds?

Jane10 Sat 18-May-19 13:56:33

Some popular favourites here! We should have a poll. David Essex and George Clooney currently leading the field at present.

harrigran Sat 18-May-19 13:57:17

Tom Hardy, oops, did I just say that out loud blush

crazyH Sat 18-May-19 13:59:55

I do Charleygirl......I like his jokes ?

LullyDully Sat 18-May-19 15:11:31

We went to a David Essex musical a few years ago in Birmingham. When he came on stage there was a unanimous "ah" from the audience of older women!

He'd be on my list with Eric Clapton and the late George Harrison

KatyK Sat 18-May-19 15:19:19

You'd have to fight me for George Harrison Lully. He was always top of my list. I was trying to think of living ones. No one measures up to George for me. smile
