I know I'm cream crackered already!!grin

We have not had a onesie or plimsoll thread for quite a while now.
Think that particular teenager may have finally grown-upwink

They’re ‘going boldly where no man has gone’ already Maw

Ready for the onesies, ugg boots, gay 12 year olds, plimsolls and Shoezone here we come!
(Although I think there might already be a couple of Klingons on the starboard bow)

Bored mummies at home, not in work, minding their children in half term and amusing themselves on GN I expect Gabriella.

What us the mystery about half term?
Noisy children? Extra childminding duties?
Grans being too busy to post?
Why would anyone do wind-ups on here simply for half term?

Truth is often stranger than fiction though! ?

A man walking his dog told me that he keeps all his dogs that have passed in the spare bedroom in special boxes. I thought 'nutter', but you are right, its half term smile

If it hadn't been a poster I knew well from GN I would have assumed the post about shaving legs was just such a wind-up.

I think urmstongran is alluding to the highly emotional, semi-hysterical pleas for advice in situation which are so theatrical and desperate that they hook you in.

I nickname these 'horse posts' simply because we had one person (genuine or fake we never really did decide) whose life was falling so dramatically apart but it could all be solved if she bought a horse.

Would that be posts about the cost of shoes and school uniforms etc?

M0nica Tue 28-May-19 08:04:21

{grin}

Be aware of strange situations from newbies asking advice. Some of course may be genuine but tread carefully.
