Intend to look at flea market in Buckingham , get home watch the penultimate stage of the Giro , then maybe a teat of a Chinese later.

Morning Mick and everyone to follow.

I've been up since 5.15 am and am wide awake. Clear blue sky in Kent but still cool for now. We are promised a lovely day so I will be in the garden with a book making the most if it.
Enjoy whatever your doing.

Good morning Micheal and everyone from a bright and sunny Birmingham. I had a miserable day yesterday with a migraine, so couldn’t have my grandson after all. Feel fine this morning, so will have a nice long walk to clear my head, and will call on my daughters this afternoon.

Looks like being a lovely day in Northampton. Feeling tired after a very busy week so will do some shopping and then potter.

Good Morning All. It looks rather gloomy here. Our choir are having an extra rehearsal for our end of term concert. "Merrie England." A piece of light jolity.

A nice bright morning on S Welsh coast.
Going for a short walk this morning and a coffee with my daughter, I need to build up the strength in my foot.
Will take DS's lovely little spaniel with us, she likes people watching as much as we do.
Have a pleasant day everyone.

Good Morning everyone.
Dry with a beautiful sunny start to the day.
I woke up late this morning. I have a craft project on my mind and have even been dreaming about it.
You must be very glad your foot is on the mend Lins.

I hope you all have a lovely day ?

As teabagwoman said, it's a lovely morning in Northampton.

The new boiler is taking longer than expected to be fitted, the workmen will be back on Monday, so still no hot water. Unexpected problems yesterday. So will be going up to DS's for a shower again this morning. Then home for lunch and out to M&S food/Sainsbury's this afternoon.

Hope the day goes well for all.

Good Morning from Surrey. So glad lots of us all over the country are waking up to this marvellous blue sky. A gym class for me first (don’t be impressed, it’s very very undemanding for people of a certain age) then I pick up my 2 GDs, both 4 years old and cousins, and bring them home with me to stay overnight. Can’t wait to have them even though they’re pretty exhausting.

Good morning,
A lovely morning here, with just a very gentle breeze, hardly anything to worry about.
It’s the church Spring Fayre this afternoon, so it looks as if they have chosen a good day for it. I’ll pop along later with a few bits for the hamper and some raffle ticket money. Other than that, a fairly lazy day relaxing in the garden. I’ve just got to call in to the butchers this morning.
I got the grass cut yesterday, so that’s one chore less to worry about. (To be honest, I quite enjoy doing it, and something can be seen from my efforts)!
Whatever your plans for today, I hope it’s a good one. ?

Good morning from a lovely sunny Leicestershire.

Hope you have a better day today Dora.

Doctor gave DH stronger pain killers so he perked up a lot yesterday.

Party and barn dance tonight for a friend’s birthday in local village hall tonight.

Good morning from a hot, sunny Colchester. Will pop into town to return some purchases and probably replace with more.... I don't really need more clothes.
Quiet afternoon in the garden with a book.

travelsafar Sat 01-Jun-19 07:44:29

Looks like a beautiful day is on the way. Just been out in the garden taking photos of 12 opium poppies that decided to open during the night early hours of this morning, they are stunning. Took pics as they don't last long unfortunately and DH still asleep and they may be gone by the time he rouses himself. smile Off to town and the library this morning then out to my sister in laws with my sister as she is hosting a baby shower for her forthcoming grandson in August. Hope everyone has a lovely day and a chance to enjoy the summery weather that is forcast.

harrigran Sat 01-Jun-19 07:44:59

Good morning from a calm, sunny NE.
A quiet day for us to allow DH to rest and recover from his two months of hospital visits.
Family returning from holiday, I suspect they will not be happy as the weather has been pants.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Maple has given you our South Yorkshire weather. We have nothing planned for today; perhaps a walk and a coffee somewhere. The garden is out of bounds until the landscapers have finished, which will be Monday now. I am in no hurry to get up this morning! Have a good day, folks.

cornergran Sat 01-Jun-19 07:47:38

Morning Mick, morning All. It’s a all, bright start in our corner of Somerset. Plan to get the bus to the beach for a walk and some lunch. Goodness bluesapphire, you must be more than tired of no hot water. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

kittylester Sat 01-Jun-19 08:04:25

Morning all.

As dragonfly says, north Leicestershire is lovely and sunny.

We spent a lot of time (and money) at the garden centre yesterday so had better get on with planting.

Enjoy your days everyone.

Good morning Mick and all from a not so sunny Glasgow! How can the weather be so diverse in the same country?

I woke with a blinding headache, so I can emmpathise Dora, migraines are so debilitating. sad
I think it has been caused by one of my new medications, which I have to take early in the morning on an empty stomach, but I will have to persevere.

I plan to try out a recipe for Scottish crumpets today, (different from the English variety. ) grin.

We have our wee granddaughter for a sleepover tonight, to allow mum and dad to go for out dinner. We gave them a voucher for Christmas, including a baby sitting voucher, they are now calling it in. grin )

Enjoy your Saturday, everyone.

Good morning All x
Right now it doesn't look as though we'll see any sun unless it'll be out at teatime ! A heavy sky and it'll probably be clammy with it sad Quite disappointing considering the rest of the country looks bright.

I've been awake since 4am ! After a visit to the bathroom I got back into bed and as I was about to settle, a heavier than usual flight passed overhead. First of all I thought it unusual at this hour then lay wide awake telling myself it sounded like a 747-----then it dawned on me that it was probably carrying Liverpool fans on their way to Madrid.
We're not used to hearing heavy planes from JLA airport.

Anyway because half an hour had gone I got up and made a cup of tea, fed the cats because they'd got up as well then put the news on. I was wide awake and felt as though I could have done a days work.

Will water mine and next doors plants this morning, the neighbour's away so must make sure her plants don't wither then must prune a shrub that's hiding the bottlebrush flowers. Enough to keep me out of mischief for a couple of hours.

Hope everyone's day goes well and if you have sunshine make the most of it !

Justme67 Sat 01-Jun-19 08:27:48

Good morning to you all from a beautiful south coast, just as the Half Term week is finishing for the local schools. Our roads have been busy over the week, the start of the holiday season.
I wish I could get a good nights' sleep, whatever time I go to bed I sleep solidly for about 3 hours and then have to get up every hour (almost to the hour) to go to the loo, until I finally give up and get up. I really do need my sleep.
Had a lovely e-mail from our grandson who is doing a solo bike ride through France, he arrived safely and told me of the beautiful village he had found and the sound of the birds. I said I would worry all the time he was there, so he is trying to put my mind at rest - he is a grown man, but makes no difference.
That's a lot from me! Take care and enjoy your days.

annsixty Sat 01-Jun-19 08:29:17

Good morning all from a not so sunny Stockport.
When will I realise that the weather is very selective and not to blindly believe the forecast?
I do not sit in the garden much but I do like to have breakfast and morning coffee out there.
As usual, not going anywhere but may have a visit from some extended family, they are waiting for me to ring to say I am feeling sociable today, which isn't always the case.

Urmstongran Sat 01-Jun-19 08:49:53

Good morning everyone from Malaga. Gorgeous again.
??
We set off for a curry last night with friends, the restaurant is only small and had tables reserved so no room at the inn! Decided to go for a Chinese a bit further along.

So glad we did as bumped into another couple we all know and the 6 of us ate together on a round table (love those, so inclusive for chatting together).

I ordered a side vegetable of broccoli with garlic. Delicious but I’d better not breathe over anyone for a few hours ....

Hope you feel up to seeing your family today anne and that Saturday is good to us all, whether we have plans or (like me), none. x

oldgaijin Sat 01-Jun-19 08:50:12

Good morning from a bright Aberdeenshire...the sun is shining but it's not warm. The mutt is outside on pheasant watch and he will go for his usual romp in the woods after we have been to the so called monthly market. It's mainly Cats Protection women with a load of old tat but there is a very good egg stall. Have a good day everyone.

Anniebach Sat 01-Jun-19 08:53:52
