Is it just me, it has anyone else got the heating on ?
So cold here, only 17* this morning and I have resorted to getting my winter tops and slippers out to wear.

It's cool and very windy in Kent but certainly don't need the heating on.

Gale force winds here in Mid Sussex but not cold. Have been out at the Church fete all afternoon with just a light jacket on--the marquee looked ready to take to the skies but children (and a few adults) were splashing around in the outdoor swimming pool.

Cold and raining in the West Midlands. Rod Stewart doing a concert here tonight. Hope everyone have winter woolies on -it's open air.

11°c here at lunchtime!! We put the heating on when we arrived home after delivering son's car to him. This is June in Northumberland, it's more like December.

I prefer cool weather and haven't had heating on since end of Jan and no, I don't wear layers, only leggings, thin cami and bare feet at home.

I hardly ever put the heating on in winter so nope no heating on here in London.

Witzend Sat 08-Jun-19 20:12:01

Put it on yesterday morning because it did feel chilly and we had a very elderly guest staying.
Wouldn't have bothered just for us. A jumper would have been enough.

Windy but glorious sunny, blue skied day here. 17° and I'm sitting in the conservatory with the doors open taking in the last rays. ?

Perishing cold all day here in Lincs. The heating kicks in whenever the internal temperature drops below 18 during the day.. It was on first thing this morning and cut in again late afternoon although a burst of late sunshine through the windows has persuaded it to turn off again.

T shirt and door open ........hot flush blush

M0nica Sat 08-Jun-19 20:32:52

CH is on the thermostat all year, it cannot be turned off, only have the thermostat level changed. We just leave it permanently set at 18 with it coming on for a few hours morning and evening

Yesterday morning in Oxfordshire it was down to 10 degrees at 7.00am and the heating has been coming on.

Honestly, this morning I woke up and thought I'd overslept and woken up in November. It's been a horrible day.

But no - not cold enough to have the heating on. I'm actually sitting here with a fan blowing on me!

ginny Sat 08-Jun-19 23:46:59

Have had the heating on for a couple of hours the last two evenings .
