Good Morning Everyone,
Its a blue sky but cloudy over Brackley this morning.
Yesterday I did manage to get to Bicester and Buckingham doing my usual, but the weather had played its part with only 2 stallholders , and they set up later than the usual time.
Today, another local pie for lunch with chips and peas plus gravy.
The traditional Sunday roast in my case is resaved for the odd eat out at a pub, or on my coach trip holiday hotels.
Mick

Good morning Mick and those to come from a sunny corner of N Bucks.
After the wall to wall rain of Friday and the nippy winds of yesterday, things are looking more hopeful.
I am off to Earls Barton Literary Festival with my half brother and his cousin and her partner this morning. After a talk by her friend Gretta Mulrooney (whose books I heartily recommend, by the way) we have it in mind to visit the unlikely sounding Jeyes Museum. We shall see what it has to offer!
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining in South Yorkshire and there may be a chance of a walk today, after I get the spare bedroom ready for DS and DiL to visit later in the week. It is full of stuff that GS likes to keep here for when he stays! He likes to put his mark on the place! Have a good day folks and I hope there is sunshine!

Good morning from a very hot Malta.

Thanks to everyone for your kind wishes yesterday. DD3’s wedding went very well.

It was a long, tiring day so I’m planning on doing as little as possible today and shall settle down later to watch the final of the French Open. Rooting for Nadal, as ever.?

Hope you enjoy your day.☀️

Good morning from a dry but overcast NE.
Yesterday was a day spent resting, went back to bed after lunch but there was a rock concert in a park a few miles away and we could hear it even with the windows closed.
There has been some flooding after the very heavy rain on Friday, better brace ourselves because the forecast for next week is for more rain.

Morning all from a very sunny and blue sky outside Colchester. Spent yesterday morning in local library checking number of users in order to collate info to keep our lovely library open. Taking mother out to lunch today so looking forward to a lovely roast. Have a good day all hope you don’t get too much rain harrigran

Good morning to you all, after a blustery day yesterday it is relatively calm, and the sun is shining without too many clouds. I hope to go out with a friend to meet up with a few bowlers, and have decided to have a stew for lunch, have not had a really nice home made stew for some time. Having said that I should really get out into the garden the wind yesterday means that some plants need a trim. We shall see after I have had my cup of tea. Take care and enjoy your days.

Morning Mick and All.

A lovely bright day here in South Bucks.

So pleased the wedding went well Bella. I too will be glued to the French Open Final. I do hope Rafa wins today but Thiem is a force to be reckoned with, so everything crossed.

Have a good day folks whatever you are up to.

Morning all from a bright, sunny North Leicestershire.

My brother and sister in law came fir a meal last night. I love my sil but my brother is hard work and, therefore, the planned gardening might have to go by the board while we recover.

Lamb tagine for dinner!

kittylester Sun 09-Jun-19 07:56:37

I missed the news about your daughter's wedding, bella. I so glad it went well.

Good Morning from a dark cloudy S Welsh coast.
Having a cup of tea and will tackle the sudoku later.

BBQ planned this afternoon with DD,DS and DiL who will be back from a couple of days in London, though showers are forecast. We will enjoy each other's company whatever.
Glad all went well Bella.

Morning Mick, morning All. Good to see some sunshine in our corner of Somerset. Bit of a catch-up day today, so pottering before the food shop is delivered then a traditional roast later. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good Morning from an overcast Fife. Such a change from our sunny blue skies and 26 degrees in Majorca. All caught up with holiday washing etc so off out this morning for breakfast with friends. Hope today is good to you.

Good morning Mick and all from a bright sunny Cheshire which is so nice after the recent stormy days.

My wrens are busily rebuilding their nest under the balcony. I found their first one lying on the path, no damage just fallen down but there were no shells in it, so presume she hadn't got that far. I've been watching the activity since early morning and crept down to see and it looks almost finished.

It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day - (think John Nash song!) Enjoy your day everyone.

Urmstongran Sun 09-Jun-19 08:11:04

Good morning everyone from a less sunny Malaga. There is mist on the sea and no clear horizon - the sea and sky have melded into one. It’s warm (muggy) but I can’t see the tops of the mountains at the back for heavy cloud - never a good sign.

No plans today but my husband has just returned from his walk and thinks we should ‘do’ something later .... perhaps.

Good to hear your daughter’s wedding went well in the Maltese sunshine Bellasnana
??

Hope Sunday is kind to us all whether we have plans or none. x

Posts X Ginny I've got that uplifting song in my head now - ‘I can see clearly now the rain has gone’. - puts my mind to a holiday in Newquay, Cornwall with my boyfriend (now husband of 45y) - must’ve been about 1976ish? We were kids really .... who knew? x

Morning All

A lovely sunny, if a bit breezy morning here in Norfolk.

Yesterday though was really chilly, windy and miserable so a Maltese wedding sounds wonderful. Perfect!

Hopefully we’ll get to our local garden centres flower show this morning before the next lot of nasty weather arrives this afternoon.

Nanabanana1 Sun 09-Jun-19 08:24:15

Morning to everyone, quite cloudy here in Torbay, hope it brightens up after the showery few days we have had.
Nothing planned except for doggie walking. Will see what the day brings.

EllanVannin Sun 09-Jun-19 08:26:35

Good morning All x
We have sunshine and calm on the NW coast of the Mersey after days of rain and general miserable weather. A treat !

Might do a spot of washing then will concentrate on preparing dinner later on.
Writing a list for an M&S visit on Wednesday, give the windows a clean, though most of the marks are outside after all the rain and hail so I'm hoping for a quick burst of energy coming forthwith.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Marydoll Sun 09-Jun-19 08:30:02

Good morning all from a breezy Glasgow.

An easy day for me today. Hopefully, I may get into the garden later.
I'm off out for the papers, driving and out on the first time on my own, since I have been ill. I need to get my life back!!!

Glad the wedding went well yesterday, Bellasnanna. smile
Brunette, good to see you are back safely and posting.

Have a good Sunday, whatever your plans.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. It's the morning after here and I've just finished loading the dishwasher and washing the floors after yesterday's barbecue. The weather was better than expected.
A lazy day today finishing up leftovers and watching the tennis and ladies football.

Nannytopsy Sun 09-Jun-19 08:38:18

Beautiful morning here in Leicester. I am going to deadhead and weed today - it’s time for the Chelsea chop out there.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sun 09-Jun-19 08:45:50

Morning all from a fairly bright South Notts, good to see a little sunshine after the downfall of heavy rain yesterday.
'I Can See Clearly Now' reminds me of a summer holiday we spent in Lowestoft when I was in my mid-teens.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Goodmorning Mick and all from dull old Wales. Feeling a bit 'off' after an uncomfortable family incident. My daughter usually invites me over for Sunday lunch. But, since she started 'dating' again, those invites are getting infrequent. I wonder why ? - bless her, I hope she finds someone nice....
Might go into the garden this morning. Oooooo the sun come up as we speak. Have a nice day all !

Anniebach Sun 09-Jun-19 08:59:00

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Not raining in Mid Wales - yet

Hope everyone has a good day x
