After a frustrating day's shopping (and being told I'd reached a good age!!) Dh and I followed this van home.

It cheered us up.

There is a local company that has "London, Paris, Sheepwash" (a local village) on its vans.

I'm guessing it's a play on the "Only Fools & Horses" thing on Dels van, which I think said "London, Paris, Peckham" but could be wrong. confused

I cannot find the photo but we went to a folk festival a few years ago and the temporary outside toilet cubicles were provided by a company called ABBA.

Some wag had added graffiti to the doors.

"Porta-loo, couldn't escape if I wanted to..."

That brings back memories - we first saw the Micron Theatre Company about thirty years ago, back when they travelled from one venue to another on their narrowboat.

Oops, sorry about the spelling mistake.

MamaCaz Sun 09-Jun-19 19:37:37

My maths is wrong too - forty years ago, not thirty!

Oh for an edit button!

Remember when police phone boxes were around towns ?
Old dark blue ones they were. Some bright spark in Liverpool had written Tardis on one ( when Dr Who first appeared on our screens ) Brother and I laughed about it for ages.
