Good morning everyone,
It's a lovely sunny morning here as Greyduster says, and it looks as if we are in for a fine bank holiday weekend.
I had a lovely few days away in North Yorkshire - the peace and quiet in the countryside is something special.
Decided to go for a walk yesterday when I got home and managed to trip over my feet! (They're not that big, honest?), so now I've got a grazed hand, knee and cheekbone. Looks like I've done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Typical, I'm going out tomorrow for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary which was yesterday. Hope I can disguise the bruise on my face with some makeup. Fingers crossed it will have faded a bit by then. Silly me.
Hope your garage clearing goes alright, BlueSapphire, and I hope the medication soon settles Marydoll - mouth ulcers are so unpleasant, along with feeling nauseous.
Enjoy your long weekend off away from 'that place' gillybob.
Hope everyone stays safe and has a good day. ?

Good morning from east London, bright and quite warm so had my breakfast in the garden - one of the few places there’s somewhere dust free to sit. I am told the underpinning in the basement is now complete (its floor has been excavated to create more height) so the dust should ease off. Off to a session of tennis shortly; need to sort out with DD if there’s anything I should be doing for GD’s birthday on Tuesday. (Choice of sprinkles on the fairy cakes could take on a new dimension). Have a good day.

Thought I'd say 'good morning' .....I'm not up early enough to nod to Mick and the dawn risers.
Have a nice day all.....still in a bit of rib pain after my topple , but nothing that an ibuprofen won't cure.....

Hi everyone ??☀️
A lovely start to the day as it's blue sky and sunshine, no breeze.
19° rising to 24° later.
Watered pots before running at 6.45 and had 15 mins with the weighted hula-hoop in the courtyard at home.

Put on a wash of running gear, nightwear and pillowcases which is now drying in the sun then hoovered and cleaned mirrors, glass etc.
That's me done and I'll have brekkie at 10 after replying to a few emails and phoning a friend re theatre tickets.
I've also sent my joining fee to the U3A and look forward to seeing what activities they offer.

Right...well onward and upward ladies...I hope you all have an interesting and enjoyable weekend planned. Plenty of rays and bbqs no doubt.
flowers + cupcake for anyone on their own or not able to get out n about.
Take care...?

Morning all from South Notts where we have blue skies.

Unusually I'm taking lunch out at a nearby pub with my sister and two old school friends.

However, I must tackle the ironing first.

Hope all is well with everyone, especially those who have less pleasant places to go and things to do.

Good morning everyone from a sunny Surrey. Slept badly last night so woke up late. Not dressed yet so feeling very lazy. Didn’t get to town yesterday so going today instead and have housework to do but no other plans.

Good morning all from what is to become a very warm/hot Nairn.
Looking forward to it reaching 20/22 today. I do like the heat.
Hope you all enjoy the bank holiday.
GabriellaG54, wow, that used to be me.
I keep saying someone has a voodoo doll of me & their sticking pins in it ???
Anyway have a good time whatever you do.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow as there's an event up here called Thunder in the Glen.
It's on every year, & although I'm not a biker, I love seeing them especially the 3 wheelers, the ride out is something to behold, I usually try & video it, the bikers all wave.
Not like you would think bikers to be, they're so nice.

Good morning All x
Sun was cracking the flags first thing so I stripped the bed and generally got cracking getting stuck into the tidying up while the washing was doing. Phone rang and it was nephew with an invite on Sunday to our annual family gathering and catch-up, so I'm all behind now-----and it's gone overcast outside. Ah well, can't be helped.

Sounds like a busy day for one and all in readiness for the long weekend, a lovely feeling for Gillybob smile
I hope everyone has a calm worry-free weekend.

Good morning all, already been out shopping & filled car up for the weekend. Lovely, warm & sunny in Devon. Traffic already building on the roads as "grockles" head for the Coast.

Forecast of lots of sunshine this weekend, makes a change for Bank Holiday.

Good morning from Lincoln, it’s a lovely day here.
I’ve got a few plans for the day, hair trim at 11, then after lunch maybe some gardening, my winter pansies arrived yesterday so I need to get them planted!
Have a nice day everyone, enjoy the weather, it could be the last of summer!
Julie.

Good morning from Stirlingshire. It looks quite pleasant out, I'm not feeling good, flare up of a very long term illness, so it's bed rest for me today, with a cat for company. Time to sleep, bfn.

Morning Michael, Annie and all.
Just about squeeze in to the morning thread.
I have had an appointment at a pain clinic this morning, and will be referred for an MRI scan. Road works forced a long detour, and so I just made my appointment in time.
Off to get ready now for weekend at DD and SIL.
Have a good day one and all.
