Sorry, what’s a “Sparkie” ?

Electrician

A "Sparkie" is an eletrician. As a "Chippie" is a carpenter, a "Brickie" is ... and so on ... smile

You can try me, Nina but I can't promise anything because my Sparkie hasn't worked as one for a while.

Ask the question, so we can all Google. Or I could ask my old feller. He knows quite a lot about anything building trade.

It was for SiL he was replacing a centre light with a unit thay has three spot lights. He got it working but it wouldn't switch off smile all sorted now, I don't know what he did.
Thanks anyway.

Gonegirl SiL is a big advocate of You-tube. He'd tried that.

I am flattered you think any of us grannies could advise your qualified electrician SIL!
