Anyone have any recommendations for interesting style blogs to read for advice / inspiration? Chatting with a friend yesterday and she said she reads susanafter60.com/. I’ve been looking at it, but not too impressed - it’s a US blog, so the clothes are from US stockists, but also it’s not really my style of dressing.

How about 'Justine', on YouTube. A French clothes designer living in Germany.
She does course, shape, accessories, the when shebang.
There is Emma Hill (YouTube) an 'influencer' in London who showcases clothes and accessories from a variety of stores.
There are many others on YouTube of all ages.
I like 'Patti Rockstarmom' (in her 70s) and Dominique Sache, a news anchor (50s) for style, make-up, accessories and hair style and wellness tips...both on YouTube.
Many more. Good luck.

I prefer to see how the clothes they talk about, actually look on a person. It's good to see how they apply make-up and hair and beauty products, how different accessories change the outfit to fit the occasion and get recommendations. Seeing, IMO, is better than just hearing.

Not a blog Lisa but I follow @Debbiedresses on Instagram. Just nice pictures of women wearing stylish dresses, and you don’t have to bother reading all the self-congratulatory waffle that bloggers sometimes indulge in grin

No blog would ever dictate inspire my style.

Besides, I don't think anyone writes about old fat women wearing 2nd hand plus-size rags garments. grin

I think there's an opening for me, then. grin

Thanks, janeainsworth - I just looked at that IG, but I never wear dresses grin

Most of the time, BradfordLass, I wear jeans and tunics or t shirts / sometimes second hand - but I just thought it might be good to get some “help” to try other styles.
