Hi, does anyone know where I can buy ladies traditional pajamas with a button up top. John Lewis sell them but they are £40 a pair and I need 3 pairs. Thanks

M&S have them .
Last year I got 2 pairs from M&Co, they were fleecy and very comfortable.

La reroute are ok, with 40 per cent off at the moment.

Peacocks and pyjamahouse have some for less than £20

Thank you for your replies.
I think I need to be more specific. The pajamas are for my 98 year old mother. She wants cotton short sleeve (I can cut the sleeves down) and she is a size 8. Unfortunately pajamas for younger women are made to sit on the hips and are not comfortable for her. Modal is too stretchy, they have to be 100% cotton, for her comfort and to allow washing at high temperatures.
Many thanks

Try Primark. I have bought cotton pyjamas there and they wash beautifully and they cost far less than £40!

And ebay - mine are from there.

Sainsbury's do nice cotton PJs with button-fronted jackets. I had a pair with calf length trousers in the spring but I see that the current ones have full length legs. I'm about to invest again!

Try looking on Ebay for men's pyjamas. I got some lovely cotton short sleeved ones for £8, with free postage.

They look just the same as women's plaid ones - just half the price.

I have a friend who's a size eight. She often buys children's clothes and shoes - age 10 is equivalent, I believe.
