Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but wet start here in Brackley this morning.
Yesterday, my regular map stall at the Flea Market in Buckingham was not there .
So in addition I am selecting 3 photos from the World Cycling Championships which I took for you to see what a buzz Harrogate was.

Morning Mick great photos. Morning all.

It's raining in North Leicestershire so the hall ceiling is dripping. Aiming not to do a lot today apart from pot roast a chicken and do some telly catching up.

Enjoy your days everyone.

Good Morning everyone.
What a difference weather wise Mick.

It’s not raining but it is wet outside.
I hope to do some craft shopping this morning and we’ll see this afternoon whether it will be the garden or admin.

I hope you all have a lovely day ?

Good morning everyone, a nice morning here in Torbay, I am back home after spending nearly a month with my eldest daughter in Cheshire, she had a major operation but well on the mend now. So lots of catching up today
Wishing everyone a good day.

Morning to everyone and to those who follow. It's pouring rain here in Fife as expected though. Have our DGS2 birthday tea today celebrating his 1st birthday so something nice to look forward to on this dismal day. Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Nice to see it didn't rain the whole time Mick
Home based day today but plenty of people expected.
I must pick the apples before the deer and squirrels eat them all. Then decide what to do with them. Juice some, make some crumbles and give some away. Ideas welcome besides leaving them all for the wildlife!

I think it's Grandparent's Day today - does that mean we are all in for a treat? wink

Good morning everyone from a grey Leamington Spa. My last day with daughter and granddaughters and it's been a hectic few days. All three girls have been unwell at some point in the last few days as well as my SIL. I've walked to school and back many times, I've watched my nearly 8 year old granddaughter play football and win the player of the match award, so proud. I've watched the 4 year old on Wednesday go from being lovely to the stroppy little madam she can become in the blink of an eye. I've been to meet my 10 1/2 year old granddaughter from her sewing class and been told how well she has fitted in with the older children who go and what a good debater she is.
Heaven help them all if my daughter becomes ill as she is the rock that holds them all together.
We are having a birthday tea this afternoon for the youngest before I make the journey home tomorrow.
I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

Good morning all from my spare room, I'm trying not to waken DGD. She rarely sleeps all night at home, so this is bonus.
No church for me today, just don't feel up to it.
My DD and her fiance are coming up to give me a break and I will use the time to ice DS1's 40th birthday cake( even although he isn't celebrating it!).

Brunette, have a love day with your wee grandson.

Wishing a good day all, especially all those feeling poorly.

Good morning from east London, rain has just stopped and it’s looking brighter. Woke up to the smell of freshly baked bread this morning as my machine is back in use again (I didn’t like using it with all the builders dust floating around). Still singing after last night, will help to sustain me while we go and look at carpets - DP is keen to get the house sorted. If it was left to me and if it wasn’t for the tacks, we’d still be walking on the underlay this time next year. Got to start sorting out my tomato’s then picking up GD this afternoon to take her home from her dad’s. Have a good day.

Good morning from soggy Kent.
Rain started at silly o'clock and is forecast for the rest of the day. It's very dark too.
DH will be going stir crazy as he can't get out to do the jobs he'd planned. He can sit and read for an hour or so then he'll get the fidgets.
I can waste an hour or three doing a jigsaw.
Enjoy your day.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from Leicestershire. The rain had stopped by the time I woke up.

Painting around the new lights and admin.

Those photos , the 1st is the Khalistan team , this was one of crossing points in Parliament st, opposite Bettys.
The 2nd is Primus Roglic who had just won Vuelta this year in the Elite Men's Time Trial just before he got caught by the event winner.
The last one , I was hoping to get the Elite Race winner , but failed this was last Sunday , I was in a Marque opposite finish line ,a cross the road you had the official UCI marque , and, and all officials just behind finish line, the Fan Zone on the Sunday on the Stray was to wet ,so they closed hence the crowds on the course .

Good morning from a dark wet NE.
It was another uncomfortable night for me with my back pain especially as I had to get up three times for the loo.
We spent a few hours online picking a mattress yesterday, told it would be eight weeks for delivery but decided to go ahead anyway as it has taken us ages to find a one we liked.
Enjoy the weekend despite the inclement weather.

Good morning from a damp and chilly Northampton; I put the heating on when I got up. Glad I cut the back grass yesterday before the rain. While doing the grass I noticed how much cutting back and pruning/weeding there is to do before winter sets in. Will wait for a nice dry day.

Watching rugby on tv, awaiting the France v Tonga match. Will be seeing live rugby this afternoon when I go to watch Saints v Saracens, wearing my new Saints shirt. Hope it doesn't rain! Nice hotpot to look forward to after the match.

Great photos, Mick! Hope the day goes well for all.

Morning Mick, morning All. Dry in our corner of Somerset at the moment. Hope to finish the garden tidy we started yesterday. Bit of a jungle out there. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good Morning Mick and all.
Nice bright morning on the S Welsh coast.
Slept better last night knowing that DD was back safe from Malasia, doesn't matter how old they are does it?

Family coming for roast pork later and DIL is bringing a dessert.
Hope you all have a peaceful day.

moggie Sun 06-Oct-19 09:07:18

Good morning Mick & all, from wet Nottingham. Good photos Mick. Painting Kitchen ceiling today, last coat. DH painting pantry. Hope all not well feel better soon. Have a good day everyone.

Pantglas2 Sun 06-Oct-19 09:08:36

Morning all. - dry here in north Wales so DH will garden while I trot to Waitrose for my free coffee, newspaper and other treats. - I have a voucher offering £14 off a £70 spend which makes it cost effective over Lidl or Aldi where I normally shop.

My friend is coming over later for some fizz as it was her birthday on Friday and it’s any excuse for me to pop a cork!

Hope you all have a lovely day - health and weather wise!

EllanVannin Sun 06-Oct-19 09:23:30

Good Morning All x
It couldn't have rained any heavier than it's done through the night. I woke up a couple of times listening to it beating against the windows, then a sudden gust slammed the gate so I was awake again before 4am. Quite a disturbed night.
One of those nights when you're glad to see daylight.

Mick's photo of Harrogate was so familiar with me and took me back many years especially with their displays of flowers. I'd have said Harrogate before it was even mentioned. Just one of those places you don't forget.

Chicken today so I'll be preparing it like a mini Christmas dinner with all the trimmings----I love it. I've even got a pud. from last year, if I've got room for it ! There's always enough to share should I have any callers.

Not much else on the agenda apart from watching some games from Doha in readiness for Tokyo Olympics next year which I love. Our girls have done so well there.

Hope the day goes as planned for everyone.

Nannytopsy Sun 06-Oct-19 09:24:41

Good morning everyone! Torrential rain here in Suffolk, which is forecast to last all day. I have an awful lot of ironing to do so that will keep me busy. DH is developing a cold, which I sincerely hope he keeps to himself! Kitty that roof problem seems insoluble - what is your next step?
Looks like a busy week ahead, then lots of visitors next weekend so cooking and preparation to do, not to mention finding the boxes that contain more plates and serving bowls! Onwards and upwards everyone!
