Good morning Mick and all, I have been wandering since 5.30am, as DH forgot to switch off yesterday’s early morning alarm . .
I’ve kept quiet, as he was an absolute star yesterday! ?
Well I am safely back home after my angiogram. I left home yesterday at 6.30am and got home at 5pm, a long day! I told the consultant that I was going to chain myself to the ward door, if I didn’t get the procedure.
I couldn’t have sedation, (too risky for me), so I concentrated the whole time, trying not to cough. It was so difficult, I can tell you!!
I now have a diagnosis ( albeit not a great one) and treatment plan, but hopefully I can move on and once the new medication starts working, I should feel a bit better and get my life back!
Unfortunately, if the condition had been diagnosed and treated properly years ago, there wouldn’t be so much damage. However, I’m grateful that my allergic drug reaction in May, highlighted the hidden condition, so there is much to be thankful for.
The consultant’s last words, as she went out of the word were: Yes, you shall go to New York in December!. Yippee!!!
I’m on strict orders to do NOTHING for two days and no lifting for a week. This is going to be very difficult for someone like me, but for once I shall just have to allow myself to be pampered.
Thank you all for all your kind words and prayers my dear GN friends, it is very much appreciated.
Kitty, I'm sorry to hear about your ceiling, so stressful for you.
I hope everyone has the best weekend they can and for those who are low, .
