I am looking for a big construction kit which a child can use to make rooms which two children can get into. He is showing signs of growing into an architect! Not Lego or model kits, too small. I have in mind something modular of tubal. Any suggestions appreciated. I'm in the UK. Thanks

Have you looked at the Quadro Range? It's very robust and used in lots of nurseries/playgroups. It's on offer at the moment, but usually it's quite expensive.

We had Quadro when our boys were young. It came with a very sturdy box.
When they’d finished with it we passed it on to their cousins. It was brilliant.

My sons had Quadro when they were tiddlers, that was 30 years ago, can't believe they still do it.

Another here recommending Quadro. Not cheap, but well worth it. We still have some after over 30 years.

Thanks all that's great I've sent a link to Dil to see what she thinks. Will it fit into a small car or should I order to be delivered straight to them in Europe?

Better to order to get delivered direct. A decent sized kit would be quite bulky.

Does anyone know anything about Knex? I haven't seen it yet but been told its good. I have a feeling it will be smaller.
