What a difference a day makes! Very warm again, 32C, but very windy prior to the forecast change which arrived on time at 8.0pm and now LOTS of rain for tonight and tomorrow! Tmp. now a chilly 21C.
I see another place. ,called Broken Hill, similar to Dubbo that copped the other dust storm, as Callistemon identified. Both places are well inland in NSW
Jennifer so far no plague of locusts, although I see S.Africa did recently UK's turn next? grin
My current issue of The Oldie has an article titled "Beside the bonny Clyde" written by an author "searching for the ultimate experience. of British midwinter bleakness which took him to the banks of the River Clyde. It makes bleak reading; Although he doesn't mention it, I guess he must have been in the vicinity of Govan where I did a virtual tour thanks to Dr.G.
True or false?
A snippet from "The Railway Magazine"
A man accused of molesting a girl in Japan found out where she lived by magnifying an image of her on social media and seeing a railway station reflected in her eyes
He then used a street-view programme to identify the station. The incident raises risks being taken by young people who post high-definition images of themselves online.!
Crikey! When I was into taking family photos in our back garden it was hard enough to make sure there were no old bikes, lawn mowers, dustbins etc showing up in the final photo! Tended to take something away from the intended subject! No photo- shop or air-brushing then either grin

Good evening Rufus. It’s surprising the detail you can get from photos.
When I watch films/tv I spend a lot of time looking at the background scenes. Often they’re not in the places they’re supposed to be.
You seem to be having such extreme weather. In Europe the East coast of Spain has been deep in snow. Very unusual.

Good evening. I'm having friends round tonight for a curry and a few drinks. It won't be a late night as I'm not up to that these days!
Have a nice evening everyone.

Good evening rufus. Its been a cool, dull day in west Northumberland. No actual rain, but no sunshine or even a hint of blue sky. Dark at 5pm. I dislike the winter months.
I made pea and watercress soup at lunchtime which we have finished off for supper.
As long as it rains during the night, and not during the day it'll be okay rufus. It seldom happens that way here.
