I ordered two this morning to pass on to my Grandsons. Had to wait though for forty minutes to join the website as there were 2,500 people in front of me. Apparently the website crashed just after midnight due to demand but all seems to be settling now. smile

One way and another I think they’ll be as rare as hen’s teeth.

?
I am hoping to see them shortly, all the DGC want one for a start, and I shall keep one too.?

I tend to use my cashless card for all my shopping nowadays so seldom have any change.

If all these 50p’s are being rejected by people who won’t accept them in their change, there will probably be plenty to see in our everyday shopping!

I have just ordered one of the above from Royal Mint. It is to go in my coin collection, especially as i have the 50p piece from 1973 to mark us going in. Anyone else ordered one. Or maybe you will be lucky enought to get one in your change today.
