I am doing every competition I come across this month, but did stop and think about this one for the very reason you stated, gillybob.

I've entered the competition. I don't think it's any more embarrassing than when we tested the pelvic floor machine.

My kitchen ceiling needs skimming - is it good for mixing plaster?

Vibrators make an excellent measured irrigation system for hanging baskets.

Fill a 1 litre plastic coca cola bottle with water. Cut a small hole in the screw on cap. With gaffa tape, strap the vibrator to the water bottle, making sure it's secure.

Suspend the upside down bottle of water/vibrator from a hook over the basket. Switch vibrator on and small measured doses of water will be delivered for as long as your batteries last.
