Why would you start a new Good Morning Thread, when there was one started an hour before yours? You would be made very welcome if you posted on it.

I don't think it matters how many threads are started on the topic or who posts on it,just so long as they are not ignored.

Threads don’t get full, they just disappear off the list of active threads when people stop posting: threads are on the active list in order of the last post.
Why don’t you join Micheal’s thread?

Threads do get full, and disappear when the thread reaches 1000 posts. But here on Gransnet, the threads rarely reach that number (Mumsnet does reach 1000 quickly as there are so many more members than on here). The morning thread only has about 2 pages to it, so not that many posts, it never gets to 1000!

Michael normally starts the Good Morning thread each day missadventurefalls but you'd be very welcome to go on there tomorrow morning and post. If you look under Chat you'll see the new thread.
