I cleared out my understairs cupboard, which gave me a big sense of achievement. I have made 3 crochet rabbits plus outfits, which I have sent to my GDs. I am now starting on a Topsy-Turvy doll which will take me ages.

On Sunday I received this survival kit from my eldest.

I've found the gloss paint for the front door, so am going to finish painting that. Then, having also found a tin of white matt paint, will paint the living room.

Decorating, gardening, sorting out cupboards, exercises for 30mins each day and catching up on house hold chores, catching up with friends and family via various technology items. Time is flying and looking forward to longer days from this weekend. Havent yet missed going out son doing shopping etc for me.

Making the most of the lovely weather while we have it by being outside as much as possible. Gardening - long overdue and general tidying outside. It’ll be very satisfying when all this is over and I can feel I have been at least productive.

Today I will be planting shallots, beetroot, carrots and spinach.

Yesterday I sorted two freezers and washed and dried anything I could find! I also made three soggy bananas into a date and banana loaf, it was delicious.

We have been isolating for some time so the house is immaculate! I really am running out of jobs?.

That's 2 threads on the subject. See Booored. Maybe better to combine?

I can’t say I’ve gone mad with cleaning or tidying, though I did give the kitchen a good blitz yesterday.

Among more mundane things (reading, knitting, trying without much success to ‘polish’ a couple of pieces on the piano), the other day I squished the seeds out of the last but one squishy cherry tomato. Seeds are now drying out in a little dish on the windowsill. I have unearthed some ancient mini peat pots, and found half a bag of compost from last year.
So I’m going to plant the seeds in a plastic ricotta pot (retrieved from the recycling) and, assuming a few will oblige me by germinating, will transfer to mini peat pots, before planting out in a mega pot outside.

Haven’t grown tomatoes for ages, we’ve usually been away in the summer too much to give them enough attention

Lurking on the gardening shelves outside I also found most of a big bottle of Tomato Food, previously used for flowering plants - my mother used to swear by it.
So you never know! Will be very satisfying if it works.

Just doing everything as normal when I am indoors for the day.
