Just watching a rerun of his journey through a lovely sunny France, eating at various restaurants with wonderful food and wine, and wondering when we will be able to travel through France and do the same.
Covid 19 , Brexit ...........
However, all is not lost!
I have the book and will attempt to replicate the dishes, assuming the ingredients are available, also the wine, if it’s available and eat in the sun, if it comes out next week.
So many ‘ifs’

After watching the 2nd episode (Alsace), we made the chicken legs stuffed with mushrooms and comte - delish. I also, previously, have made tarte flambe- also very good. I'm enjoying the travelogue as well.

Bet you didn't try to make the sauerkraut MattJo! The cuisine of the regions is all so different. I love the way he visits the small homely kitchens not just the posh restaurants.

Most Some of the food looks horrible. Certainly nothing I'd eat.

However, I really love the programmes, so interesting and beautiful scenery.
I also recorded the Italian travels of the two chefs (one had white curly hair) some time ago.
Superb photography.
Italy and the South of France are two of my 3 fav places, the other being the UK.
