New ideas for Reality TV programmes

Following on from the above, if we sent thr intended into Canada they would not need to go round and round because they would be transfixed by what they experienced.

The great outdoors of Canada is wonderful. If you haven't been there do go. But do not expect to do it all in one go. It is a vast country that requires many visits at different times of the year. It is completely facinating, offering something for everyone. I could live there were we not already tied to the UK.

Sounds good. Celebrity campers just don't cut it for me. They don't show camping as it is.

A travel show for ordinary folk....

I've often thought a show with a family of four, a dog and a camper travelling across various parts of Canada would be good.

Oooh yes......but use the women on the existing show. I'd love to see them when they've done their own hair and makeup, trying to totter down the stairs of a moving bus in their ridiculously high heels.

How about a real housewives show where everybody has to wear their own clothes, do their own hair and make up, doesn’t have a beauty or dress line, can only go on holiday by public transport, is not allowed to ask another for a private word and nobody is allowed to bully others or be spiteful.

Someone beat you to it vampirequeen. Theres a Korean show on Netflix called "Chef and my Fridge". It is very funny, and worth a look.

Tell people they are on Big Brother. Put them in whatever accommodation they normally use. Remove all the cameras and see how long they stay there. First one out is the winner.

A reality cooking show

A celebrity chef has to cook a three course meal but is only provided with a chicken, a bag of pasta, a bag of rice a bar of chocolate and a pound of tomatoes. He/she can also make use of whatever is in my store cupboard. This will introduce them to the real world where the normal store cupboard does not contain double cream, sour cream, crème fraiche and vanilla pods, Instead they find a herb and spice collection made up of 4 year old jar of dried mixed herbs, a 7 year old unopened jar of ground cinnamon and a jar of browny green stuff that the label has fallen off, a suspicious looking dried up lump of what might be cheddar, gravy granules of indeterminate age, half a bottle of tomato ketchup and a selection of tinned tomatoes, baked beans and pears in natural juice.

A Big Brother type reality show but all the participants must be over 60 years old

Mine wouldn't be very exciting but here goes:

A young adult with a problem shares this with older people such as ourselves. We pitch in with our experience (been there, done that, been sick down the t-shirt) and wisdom to try to provide solutions or simply a different approach.
