At the front of our house (end terrace) we have a postage stamp front garden open to the world, except for a hedge behind me, there is a tiny path in front of it and a field beyond that, quite rural.
As the sun came out DH put out a comfy picnic chair for me, hammered into the ground a pole and erected a sunshade. I have also added a small side table for my bits and pieces.
I sat down to enjoy the wonderful sunshine and the clouds came over but after all DH’s efforts to cheer me up, as I told him this morning incarceration was not for me, I have decided to sit it out. I am wearing a winter coat with the hood up and am wrapped in a woolly blanket, as appropriate for an old dear like me.
I’ve just drunk a hot cup of tea to thaw myself out and trust that hypothermia hasn’t yet set in. ☕️?

I requested the return of two of my garden chairs from DDs house which I took there to cover the overflow of people for xmas lunch,my lovely DGS duely rode up to my house and deposited them on the front porch.
They are now in the back garden on my patio area and I have just come in after also spending time outside with a hot 
throwing a ball up and down the garden for my Poppy to have her daily run,if the weather is nice tomorrow I plan on an alfresco Sunday lunch.
