Since being confined to quarters for nearly 3 weeks, I have felt compelled to drink a small mug of black coffee each day at mid morning. I rarely, if ever, drink coffee. Very odd confused. Has anyone else found they are eating (or drinking) foods which they would not normally consider?

I have found we are not eating what i call proper dinners. Eggs, beans, tomatoes on toast seems enough. I guess we are not using up energy like before. My shopping being done by son also means i dont get anything i have forgotten and i am not tempted to add extras to the trolley.

We are eating at proper times and so feel better. We are doing less exercise but not gaining weight as we can't just grab a treat while out.
I am using different brands to usual and being inventive, but nothing unusual.

We’re eating generally healthily, probably more cooked meals as there’s more time to cook The daily walks seem to be keeping weight steady as does the absence of the cake that somehow found itself on the coffee order when we were out.

I’m snacking less between meals (today’s Easter egg being the exception) and I’m now drinking tap water, which I never used to bother with. I got into the habit when I started taking a bottle out with my book to the garden for my daily dose of fresh air.

We are eating much as before. Exercise has increased as we go for a daily walk and due to the wonderful weather doing a lot in the garden. We are also sleeping well. This is amazing for me as I have spent years awake at 2-3 4in the morning.

We are eating really well. I have rediscovered cooking -thank you Tom Kerridge. I haven’t really cooked in years. Shepherds pie tonight with veg.

Its changed my routine as well, I am not eating as much as I normally would.
When , it was normal , I went out had 2 coffees out at different cafes ,and one , twice a week I would have a sausage roll or a Cornish pastie on a Tuesday or Thursday.
On a Saturday , a coffee in Bicester , come back into Buckingham go to my favourite cafe there and have a toasties, or an all day breakfast .
When I did not have the breakfast ,I would visit my local Chinese Take away and get soup plus a main .
Weight wise I have managed to loose a bit , which is ideal as I am the obese category, and have type 2 diabetes
So weight loss is vital if i loose another 5kg It would be nice, but on the other hand the wardrobe waistline wise.

Im eating a lot more frozen vegetables with my meals, but not cooking fresh food for a main meal everyday, mostlydueto not being able to get out to the usual shops we normally visit.
We got badly ripped off buying meat on line from a large catering butcher that wasoffering 'Lockdown Packs' of meat for the freezer. The quality turned out to be awful, the steak mince was full of gristle and horrible dark red colour, which im pretty sure was actually minced Ox heart! My DH is putting on a fair amount of weight, hes forever snacking and raiding the grand children's chocolate and treats box, eating cakes and biscuits between meals, and not going for his usual long walks everyday, hes now getting to the point where his trousers are getting very tight around the waist and he sits watching TV at night zip undone and letting it all hang out!

Drinking less, always eaten healthily but as our gym is closed we are actually exercising more.
