Good Morning Everyone,
Up early as usual, to what looks like another warm day here in Brackley this morning.
A quiet day to day I might treat myself to a bar of chocolate which I have brought .
Otherwise a lockdown, I did buy myself some 5KG dumbells a year or so back so may exercise using them .
Trying to avoid becoming a couch potato .
Mick

Happy Easter everyone.
Shall be going to virtual church later. Also Skyping DD and family in lockdown in NZ unable to get home.

Good morning Mick grandmattie and all to follow. Easter ? greetings to you all.

Apricot coloured sky here in South Bucks another warm day in prospect.

Good idea Mick best of luck with your dumbbells. I am doing the 15 minute Walk in a Mile recommended here on GN. I turn down the sound and put on my own music.

A nice roast chicken dinner for us today and a glass of chilled wine.

Good morning Mick, granMattie, NanKate and all who follow on this Easter Day. I'm hoping for another warm and sunny day in Cheshire but it's too early to tell yet. I woke early from a weird dream which took me some time to get out of my head. Doing deals with a builder because I had some bricks he needed. No idea where that came from. confused

This is the first Easter in many years when I haven't been with my DD and DGS. I have an Easter card for my GS in which I've made a list of treats for when we're finally over this extreme virus situation and we can meet again. I'll photograph it and send it to his phone. Had a lovely Skype chat yesterday and another planned for today, which helps to shrink the couple of thousand miles we are apart.

Will walk in the woods and see the bluebells as more are appearing each day. Not a carpet of blue yet, but it will be soon. The wild garlic is in flower and rather pungent and the trees are now that beautiful sharp spring green. All signs that nature is alive and well at least.

Enjoy your day everyone. Stay safe. flowers for all.

Good Easter Sunday to you all ??

We are due for another sunny warm day here in S E Essex, so we are having a BBQ this afternoon, and our Roast Pork tomorrow.

Nothing else on the agenda.

Keep safe and well folks ?

Good morning all from a dry and bright north Wales where I’m enjoying the chamberpot of tea having been up to do the necessary yoga.

DH has announced that a sausage butty is what’s needed to set us up for the day so I’ll leave breakfast in his capable hands as I’ll be making dinner - roast pork and trimmings as he’s not keen on lamb which I’d have preferred.

DH is fully recovered from his hip op Beechnut and very appreciative that he had it done just in time before the shutdown on all ops etc. He’d been waiting since June 2017 and was in serious pain over Christmas and New Year so my sympathies to anyone still waiting (think it might be anne60)

Hope the weather is kind to all and may your wobbles be little ‘uns x

Good morning everyone and a Happy Easter from Essex by the sea. A very strange Easter this year.
Not much on the agenda today, a walk by the sea and roast chicken for lunch with a glass of wine.
Have the best day you can and stay safe everyone xx

Good morning everyone from Malaga where it’s another white cloud day. Usually at this time of year it’s hot and sunny and families flock to the Costas for their Easter holidays. Weather-wise, they’re missing nothing. On average all this lockdown (Day 29 now out of 43) we’ve had one gloriously hot day a week.

I forgot to put ‘chocolate’ on the grocery list so none for me this Easter Sunday! Not that I’ve had any all month (it’s not something I’d bother with) but I would have had some today. Ah well.

Will be FT’ing the grandchildren later this morning. Their mummy has bought them a chocolate egg as if from us so as we chat she said she will bring ‘our’ eggs in to them & say these are from grandma and grandad. Bless.

Hope Easter Sunday is kind to us all. Keep safe everyone that’s the main thing. x

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire on this Easter Day.

Weather looks mighty fine again.
I read a whole book yesterday, start to finish. The Salt Path by Raynor Winn it was definitely a ‘cant put down’ type of read!!
Today I will look if she has written any more.
I will take the pooch on a bike ride later along the canal and maybe go a little further this time. The pooch is definitely getting fitter since she has been running by my bike.
I hope that everyone has the best day possible today and please, stay safe?

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders on this Easter Sunday which also happens to be our Wedding Anniversary. (It was a very windy day 51 years ago)

We've already had photos of an egg hunt and easter bunnies in NZ
I may join the worshippers on Zoom later. It's rather wonderful to see and hear old friends without any effort.

We have no excuses. We will be at home. Feeling blessed.

Happy Easter Mick and everyone,
My heart goes out to everyone missing their families.
From Hertfordshire.

Good morning Mick and the GM team - Happy Easter ? to everyone. It’s warm and bright in east London.

I have been a bit unwell but feeling much better today. I plan an easy day. Phone calls to the loved ones later.

We haven’t quite cracked how to access our delivery slots for groceries, despite being on the priority list. But we’re doing fine.

I have made a boeuf bourguignon for today and a cheesecake. Hardly traditional Easter fare, or our usual Easter meal, but I wasn’t sure what would be available.
I have sent gifts via Amazon and cards via the post to the family. We have Easter Eggs via Thornton’s delivery ... mine is chocolate and strawberry... (we will need to follow Micks example and get the exercise weights out ...)

Good thoughts to those in Sick Bay and any wobblers.
‘Let’s be careful out there’. ??

Good Morning from Severnside which has a sunny start to the day.

Pantglas2 ?? and yes it is annsixty that has missed out on her hip op.

Another day much the same except no garden work as I want to wear something decent today and not get it dirty. I feel like my mum talking to me ?

I will cook a nice meal and have the best day I can and hope that you all have the same. I expect FaceTime will be red hot today ???

dragonfly46 Sun 12-Apr-20 07:30:02

Happy Easter everyone ???

It's a sunny day in Kent. Today is our 45th anniversary, which I find hard to get my head around.
I will be cooking a nice lab roast later and we will have a glass of wine. Something we rarely do.
Have a good day everyone.

ninathenana Sun 12-Apr-20 07:42:48

No test tubes will be involved in my roast ?? it should read lamb

kittylester Sun 12-Apr-20 07:45:51

My bit of Leicestershire is also sunny. We are about 3 miles from dragonfly46 so that is not really a surprise.

A little bit more gardening this morning before roast lamb, roast carrots and potatoes, petit pois and mint, redcurrant and orange sauce.

No doubt we will have a few video calls today after the children have done their easter egg hunts.

Enjoy your Easter Days everyone! And stay safe!!

kittylester Sun 12-Apr-20 07:47:47

Happy Easter to all from a bright dry Inverness with the sun just peeping through the clouds

Nothing different planned for today, we received some lovely treats from Hotel Chocolate yesterday so will be tucking into those and looking forward to FaceTime with the family.

Scentia I really enjoyed The Salt Path book too - We walked half the coastal path last year and should have been finishing it this year but obviously all on hold ! ?

Happy Anniversary to Grammaretto and Ninathenana

Take care everyone and enjoy today as best you can ?
