By the time this is a memory, we will have been so inculcated into some of the rules we now have to abide by, that they will be impossible to shrug off.
I, for one, will not miss hugging friends or shaking hands with strangers.
What I do miss is the freedom to go anywhere, the beach, a train ride, open gardens, sitting by the river without being moved on.
When these freedoms are available we don't necessarily avail ourselves of them, but we can if we want to...at any time.
It's the fact that we can't now do these things which makes them more desirable.
