Is anybody else's DD or DS putting their hair out with taking on the role of 'teacher' ? hmm

It's the grandparents in this house.
If only we had text books instead of technology. Getting our elderly computer to function properly is hard work and we are mystified about how to send work back. Everything is taking us twice as long as it should do and tempers get frayed. We are learning a lot though.

Have you thought about setting up support groups with other parents? I'm sure you could find some one who would offer support and you could pool any ideas or hints. Zoom or WhatsApp might be useful.

Awwwww.... well hats off to you for trying....
You've given me inspiration....( Inspiration was certain lacking when DD showed me the homework...my brain went cock-a-hoop )

We have a parents Facebook group - it helps keep us all sane as we try and persuade our DCs to just do the flaming homework!! angrywine It’s been a godsend as half the battle is trying to work out where the teachers have put the lessons and assignments. When you’re working from home and trying to supervise the online schooling it’s really tough.

Serendipity22 there are quite a few teachers and ex-teachers on GN if you have a problem with something and give details I'm sure someone will be able to help.
