Well , that's Mum's Day nearly over, here anyway, so it's back to "normal" for another year or so!
Despite what all the TV weather lasses were saying yesterday it turned out quite nice so another load of washing out and dried! My dear Vera taught me all about separating "dark" washes and the rest, such as sheets; however us Grandads are not all dills; I've learned for myself that if you bung them all in together you can get the same result using less water and electricity. Clever eh! 
You may see some TV news tonight of Melbourne riots in the CBD involving idiots fighting to be released from lockdown. No doubt some professional agitators were in the mix, but you'd think anyone even with half a brain would hang back and wait to see what our Premier is going to announce tomorrow regarding lockdown rules. 
I thought "Rent-a-Crowd" businesses would have gone out of business by now; these must be DIY agitators.!
I see on another thread confusion regarding the "Letter" on shielding, apart from forgetting "i before e, except after "c"
Not 100% true, but that's for the pedants!
Obviously I haven't seen that Letter but I imagine it's of the type that gives readers choices on how to apply it according to their personal circumstances; not the sort of gratuitous advice that I never appreciate receiving from third parties!
We await news of our pardon tomorrow! One thing's for sure; the car battery will be flat!
