I see advertisements for this brand of clothes on GN all the time. Some of the things look quite nice. Has anyone bought anything from them and if so what did you think?

Doods bargepole touch don't! Read some of the reviews! Size issues, returns have to be sent to China, .....

NO, don’t even think about it, read the reviews, the pictures look fantastic but often bear no resemblance to what you receive, if you even get it.

Calendargirl Sat 16-May-20 12:11:58

If that’s the case, should GN be advertising it?

BlueBelle Sat 16-May-20 12:14:06

Yes I have bought two lovely tops off them it didn’t take long to arrive and they were very good quality has lots of people admire them
Not sure if it ll take longer with the virus stuff I sent a birthday card to my grandson In NZ and a card to a US friend nearly three weeks ago and neither received yet
Have you bought anything off them Oppsadaisy

I have bought a couple of things. They were wearable but not quite how they were displayed in the picture. The colours were not as vibrant and the quality of the material was not good. I suppose you get what you pay for but it does take a long time for them to come.

I am very tempted to buy from them, but I read on here somewhere before to avoid them and so have done so. I think things generally take longer to arrive at the moment,, I sent a card through m...pig (within the Uk) and it took over a week to arrive!

I found the goods ok but the service was dreadful. I will not use them again.

bluebell not me, but DD2 bought a dress which looked lovely in the picture, but was really badly stitched together and too small ( you need to check the sizing on the form before you order) however, it cost relatively little compared to what she would normally pay, she tried to get an exchange for a larger size, but there was no reply from the company.
There are a lot of these companies advertising on FB and Pinterest , I wonder if they are all connected? , (they are all in China.)
But I must admit the clothes and especially the shoes look lovely.

Thank you all so much for taking the trouble to reply. On balance I think I will give them a miss. Many thanks

Have a look at the TrustPilot reviews and then make your decision:

Thanks chewy well I read those reviews and I’m glad I didn’t order anything. The reviews are pretty bad. Wonder why GN allows them space.

BlueBelle Sat 16-May-20 21:31:42

I ll take a photo in the morning and show you they were lovely tunic tops

When I'm unsure about a company I've never ordered from, I always Google "companyname reviews", although this doesn't always work because sometimes the only result is the reviews listed on the company's own website. So then I try "companyname forums". I generally get independent reviews one way or the other.

I think this company also started selling face masks claiming they were of medical quality but were just a couple of thin layers of fabric

glammanana Sun 17-May-20 12:11:38

I just can't understand why GN have them promoting their goods on this website when so many bad reviews from customers.

Daisyboots Mon 18-May-20 01:20:44

I have bought 3 dresses and a top from a similar Chinese company. As long as you make sure of your size and realise that for the price they wont be the besr quality they are ok. I have certainly had some nice comments from friends when wearing them.

glammanana i dont know that GN has much say in what adverts are shown.
