Hope you are all still keeping as well as can be expected! smile The highlight of today's news is that it was 15C max. and didn't snow! The tall, slim blonde (they all are!) TV weather presenter claimed it had been a "mild" day! hmm
She should have been with me putting out the bins in a stiff cold south-easterly
Number of cases dropped to 177 yesterday, but reporter pointed out it was Sunday yesterday so fewer tests carried out.
NSW now getting more cases and hot spots; pubs/hotels at the centre.
Looks like our "Christmas in July" festivities will be on hold this season! Poor Rudolph and his mates will miss out on their treats and Santa his sherries! sad
TV News this evening showed the final Jumbo leaving Tullamarine to be mothballed in the US of A. The very last one leaves Brisbane later this week. Fifty years service!
We flew out of Heathrow in a 707, the day before 747s entered service! How time flies! hmm
I've been searching around the 'Net for my Doona and now the comp. screen has an endless procession of them floating past. Why do I get the feeling I'm being watched!?
Following up on the news item regarding the release of "secret" correspondence between H.M., Gough Whitlam and the G.G in 1975, I was reminded of the "femme fatale" in the mix, Juni Morosi. Perhaps she was responsible for Labour suffering a heavy loss at the subsequent election! grin
Must go, again!

Hello Rufus2 . Its ended up lovely here in Polmont. Beautiful blue skies and warm to match. Well, warm for us! Poor santa and rudolph. A christmas in July sounds excellent. I've been babysitting again and then took him out for a walk with my aunt who is younger and fitter than me. It was good though and we all benefitted from the fresh air. Back for another stint with the boy tomorrow. I've just had dinner and I am having a restful evening. Take care x

Evening Rufus it was nice here today. I have just got in from work, so feet up on the settee and a cup of tea.

Hello down under. Odd sort of day here. Warm and clammy then came on to rain half way through my daily route march.
I'm looking forward to meeting my friend tomorrow in a local park (with lots of benches) for a good catch up and discussion about passers by. We do love making up life histories for them.
Stay cosy - although 15° is pretty hot to me!
