Can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonably priced company for stairlift maintenance? We bought the stairlift from Acorn, and my husband took out a contract for after the guarantee ran out, it cost just over £500 for 4 years. That included an annual service visit, plus up to 3 call outs per year when necessary for repairs (parts included). When I tried to take out another contract after it expired, I was told they only do them annually now, at a cost of £275, which seems a bit steep if they don`t get called out, which I haven`t done very often.
