I just read a list of “100 Things To Do Before You Die...
I was quite surprised that “Yell for help” wasn’t one of them.

Happy Anniversary Jaxjacky No doubt singing “We,ve been together now for 21 years etc” as you scoff your chish and fips. Unfotunately, that’s all it’s going to be because your GG “Master of Reality” came in 15th in the Melbourne Cup this afternoon!
Why didn’t you go with the luck of the “Oirish”.? sad

They came in 1st and 2nd and paid a fortune!
If you’d been watching you’d have wept; the sun was shining all day 30C, and the famous roses looked magnificent. The fillies didn’t look too bad either in their summer outfits clutching their wines. Not sure where they were, because the course was empty of spectators.
Btw; does Guinness go well with chish and fips? Not if it’s green, I imagine. shock

We are still on track for virtual eradication of Covid and we’d lile to think it’s our reward for prompt implementation of lockdown/curfew. controls and limitation on crossing State borders.
The next big problem is getting the economy up on its feet again by encouraging people to go out and spend.

Not much else on the agenda! Feeling courageous today and put up sun- umbrella on the patio! Hope that’s not tempting the devil!

Hi Rufus, again pleased at your new ‘virtual eradication’! I guess you know we start National Lockdown onThursday. Lots of objection and discussion but I think we will just go with the flow, however very fed up, also lots of strange things still being posted on GN . Don’t feel like I want to be part of it much longer.

Hi Rufus “Virtual eradication of covid”! Will those three words ever become reality for us? Well we can all ask Santa!
You put up your sun umbrella on the patio while I’ve put mine away, you are always ahead and show us that day comes after night, spring after winter.

Megs Now please don't talk like that! You're one of the few reasons why I'm still hanging on, ever since we first met on the naughty stool, way back when.
Who was it called us buddies? grin
I agree that strange things are going on, members disappearing without trace and not much "Netiquette" being practiced, but I guess it can all be blamed on THE VIRUS! sad
Anyway it's now Wednesday, 1.00am, still warm, so maybe an outing with Freda might be on the cards after breccie! smile

Hi Rufus, oops on the horses! No Guinness with the fish and chips, probably a couple of ? beforehand. Well done Australia, we have a longer ride ahead I think, but we’ve done it before. Talking of rides, I think Freda deserves a run out, all that glorious weather, blow away a few cobwebs, but I’m sure she’s been dusted...
