Now where were we!? Sorry about the premature publication; Obviously I was mixed up and it’s not due to the heat today!
Yesterday was 38C , then a cool breeze arrived at 10.30pm which helped sleeping until 6.30 this morning when work re-started on the block opposite.
It was concrete-pouring day and just as well it wasn’t yesterday
Only 25C max, but back up to mid-30s tomorrow. Let’s hope the heat will kill off a few Covid bugs.

Jaxjacky Do you know any Leeds supporters? Bet they’ve gone into induced hibernation! The FA Cup is still a great leveller and that’s part of it’s fascination, provided of course, that it’s the opponents being levelled! tchgrin

When do the experts think the single dose of vaccine will be showing a positive effect?
Hard to tell I suppose, when 2 jabs are the recommended treatment.
We are due for the roll-out next month and I suppose my name will be up there with the other “Oldies”, but no rush!

Your stats keep breaking records, but as said earlier, it’s sad, but now a wait-and-see to see how effective the jabs will be.

The Open Tennis in Melbourne is going ahead with many conditions, but will cost a fortune with all the restrictions and security. Then of course millions of prizemoney dollars go overseas.

Interesting documentary tonight about “Birdsville or Bust”
There’s a place to get away from it all; pop 140, no traffic lights, one policeman.
Mind you, a long trip to see your doc.! tchhmm

Good Health wine wine wine

Hi Rufus, I’m married to a Leeds supporter! Who’s born and bred Belfast...the middle of 9, as a young lad he was asked to choose a football team, he chose Leeds as he could spell it. Vaccinating in leaps and bounds here, I’m not sure when a knock on to the numbers is expected.
I see the Melbourne GP has been rescheduled to November as well.
Take care ?

Hello Rufus, Yippee ,just had our vaccinations, 2nd one in 12 weeks, all well organised, some people are being so critical but the logistics must be almost impossible, we are so lucky here.

If only there weren’t so many idiots, there is news tonight of people buying tickets ,about £30 I think, for a party on a boat. I despair. Even with our ostrich minds it’s impossible not to know about the terrible toll this virus is taking
Hope all is well
Cheers????????
