Hello Everyone smile

Inspired by another thread (thank you BlueBelleflowers).

What names has your enbonpointment (I hope that's the word confused) been given, even by yourself or AN Other?

Rather disappointingly, I don't recall my pair ever being referred to as anything much, but for the purposes of this thread I'm going with Porgy and Bess.

Anyone else? Thank you in advance!

Gert and Daisy many moons ago ?

Marydoll Sun 21-Feb-21 10:06:54

My five year old granddaughter is fascinated by them and was always trying to look down my top. when she was younger. I am rather well endowed for such a wee wumman. I had a good friend from school, a doctor, who used to wonder why I didn't fall over, as I was a size ten in those distant days! blush

My granddaughter calls them, buttons.

I've just realised that Porgy and Bess may not be the best choice as my bosoms aren't of colour.
I wouldn't want them to culturally misappropriate.
Back to the drawing board.

Mary like Dolly Parton, do you have very small feet due to things not growing in the shade?

Marydoll Sun 21-Feb-21 10:30:28

Four and a half, Fanny.
My biggest problem is when I have to inject myself in my stomach. I can't see it! ?

FannyCornforth Sun 21-Feb-21 10:37:55

I'm just going through various double acts in my head.
So far, thanks to yet another thread, the most depressing option is Gregg Wallace and John Torrode.

You are lucky Mary. I haven't been similarly blessed. When I was younger I had serious boob envy.
Which reminds me of this - I've mentioned it before on another thread about back handed compliments:
I was about 18 and bemoaning the size of my bum, this was a common occurrence.
And wishing to put my mind at rest, my mom says "no, no, chick, you haven't got a big bum at all, it's just that you are flat chested".
Bless her!

I am a bore, breasts they were, are and will be, cannot be bothered with any alternatives.

FannyCornforth Sun 21-Feb-21 11:30:07

No worries M0nica, as I say, mine have never been noteworthy enough to warrant a nick name.
I refer to mine as boobs.
(I'm bored and stuck in bed, so I'll start a thread about pretty much anything.
Bar Gregg Wallace, of course.)

BlueBelle Sun 21-Feb-21 11:32:24

As I said in the other thread an ex referred to mine as pinky and perky never quite knew which was which I don’t think he did either

Elegran Sun 21-Feb-21 11:35:01

Fanny I think an enbonpoint is a bit lower than a bosom, as men who like their grub and their vino get described as having one. Maybe names for the tum is a subject for another thread once this one has run its course?

Then ones for the fanny, naturellement.

25Avalon Sun 21-Feb-21 11:37:32

In Cockney rhyming slang they are called Bristols. Say no more!

Is it really, Elegran? I had no idea. I thought that it referred to the cleavage-y bit when they are squished together!
Talking of squishing - that's why my ideal dress would be a Regency, Empire- line affair; they do wonders for the modest of boob; and the A line skirt skims over an ample bottom.

LauraNorder Sun 21-Feb-21 11:45:59

My rather large boobs have always been boobs, breasts when talking to the doctor.
Men however, in my experience, are more likely to name their bits. Orlin, when younger, referred to Henry and other parts as Mutt and Jeff.
Following prostate removal now more Hen than Henry.
Thank god were anonymous on here!

Bellasnana Sun 21-Feb-21 12:16:34

I’ve never felt the need to give nicknames to my body parts but my sister used to call her bust her ‘Continental shelf’ as she was rather well endowed.

Sadly, she had to have a double mastectomy due to the cancer which ultimately took her life.

Lisagran Sun 21-Feb-21 12:19:22

Isn’t it embonpoint?

A rather embarrassing thread, especially for a Sunday?!

Clutches pearls and goes back to reading a religious tract....

grin. grin

Marydoll Sun 21-Feb-21 12:29:29

I actually broke my string of pearls when I first read this thread. Then I decided to stop being a prude and contribute. Lisa. ?

Lisagran Sun 21-Feb-21 12:41:51

Well, you’ve a stronger constitution than me, Marydoll, I’m finding it a very unsettling subject. Nevertheless, I have partaken of some smelling salts and shall endeavour to continue with my daily tasks. First on my list is to starch the covers on the piano stool legs.....

Jaxjacky Sun 21-Feb-21 12:44:44

MOnica same as you, similarly other body parts are referred to by their proper names to my children and from them to GC’s.

LauraNorder Sun 21-Feb-21 13:04:22

Lisagran once you’ve finished starching the covers on the piano stool legs perhaps you could don your dainty ballet pumps and skip through the woodland gathering wild flowers to fill your jugs.

Marydoll Sun 21-Feb-21 13:12:02

Lisa, I have run out of smelling faults and cant get to the shops, so I may have to avoid threads which upset me.?

grandmajet Sun 21-Feb-21 13:19:45

I suppose mine did at one time resemble Pinky and Perky, as suggested by BlueBelle. More like Jelly and Bean now!

Blossoming Sun 21-Feb-21 13:34:41

Lefty and Righty ?

grandmajet Sun 21-Feb-21 13:37:03

Blossoming, do they argue on election days?

TerriBull Sun 21-Feb-21 13:37:28

I don't have any names, but apropos of the other thread, maybe Harry and Meghan, insomuch as they are high profile, they no longer serve any useful purpose and I'd really like them to just go away!
