My five year old granddaughter is fascinated by them and was always trying to look down my top. when she was younger. I am rather well endowed for such a wee wumman. I had a good friend from school, a doctor, who used to wonder why I didn't fall over, as I was a size ten in those distant days!

My granddaughter calls them, buttons.

I've just realised that Porgy and Bess may not be the best choice as my bosoms aren't of colour.
I wouldn't want them to culturally misappropriate.
Back to the drawing board.

Which reminds me of this - I've mentioned it before on another thread about back handed compliments:
I was about 18 and bemoaning the size of my bum, this was a common occurrence.
And wishing to put my mind at rest, my mom says "no, no, chick, you haven't got a big bum at all, it's just that you are flat chested".

Is it really, Elegran? I had no idea. I thought that it referred to the cleavage-y bit when they are squished together!
Talking of squishing - that's why my ideal dress would be a Regency, Empire- line affair; they do wonders for the modest of boob; and the A line skirt skims over an ample bottom.

My rather large boobs have always been boobs, breasts when talking to the doctor.
Men however, in my experience, are more likely to name their bits. Orlin, when younger, referred to Henry and other parts as Mutt and Jeff.
Following prostate removal now more Hen than Henry.

I’ve never felt the need to give nicknames to my body parts but my sister used to call her bust her ‘Continental shelf’ as she was rather well endowed.

Sadly, she had to have a double mastectomy due to the cancer which ultimately took her life.

MOnica same as you, similarly other body parts are referred to by their proper names to my children and from them to GC’s.

Lisagran once you’ve finished starching the covers on the piano stool legs perhaps you could don your dainty ballet pumps and skip through the woodland gathering wild flowers to fill your jugs.
