I love Spring! For me it means the long winter months are finally behind us and the promise of summer is to follow. Spring means new life and I just love all the baby animals, wildlife, spring flowers and blossom. The warmth of the sun on your face is the best tonic.

Spring.
Full of hope. And if the summer’s a washout we don’t know that yet.
So joyous.

Spring without a doubt. All the plants come back into life and the wildlife is out more and especially this spring the crocus and snowdrops have lifted my spirits and gives us all hope of better things to come having lived through Covid.

Oh no! That's a bit unfortunate!

Spring for me too when everything starts coming out. Love May- the best time to visit gardens.

Blossoming Fri 05-Mar-21 11:31:08

Autumn, beautiful colours and soft light.

Mapleleaf Fri 05-Mar-21 11:48:05

All the seasons have something wonderful to offer, but I especially love spring and autumn. Spring because of all the new growth and life and it's freshness, and autumn for its colour and mellowness.
The winter can be harsh, with long hours of darkness and biting, damp cold which plays havoc with my knees, and the summer can be too uncomfortably hot, making doing anything a bit of an effort at times.

Mapleleaf Fri 05-Mar-21 11:50:03

I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate the winter or summer, though. ?

Nanna58 Fri 05-Mar-21 11:51:54

Spring and summer, with summer jus ahead as favourite, have always had chronic SAD so Autumn brings me down and Winter is misery.

Redhead56 Fri 05-Mar-21 11:55:24

Spring because of new life Autumn for the colours. Not a sun worshipper but I like warm days I hate the cold not a fan of winter.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 05-Mar-21 12:01:50

Honestly every season has its joys. Difficult to choose.

Looking out of the window I can see dear little daffodils, crocus, iris, primroses and early tulips. Glorious, but blimmin’ cold out!

grandMattie Fri 05-Mar-21 12:31:55

All of them! It’s the change from one to the other that I love.
The first inklings of spring; the exuberance of summer, the excesses of autumn, the sparseness of winter...

lovebeigecardigans1955 Fri 05-Mar-21 12:36:46

I rather like the mellowness of autumn but it means that winter is on its way and I hate frost and snow. Summer is sometimes too hot for me so I'll go with Spring being the best of all - it means hope for the future and that's something we all need.

Grandmabatty Fri 05-Mar-21 12:43:32

My favourite is early autumn because of the leaves changing on the trees, harvest, flowers at their best, busy birds etc. There can be some beautiful days and frosty nights. Next would be spring.

Severnsider Fri 05-Mar-21 16:21:59

No; summer is the best season for me. It is a happy season, a holiday season, a visiting season. The best season for colourful summer flowers and the joy of watching the seeds you have planted growing. Summer is full of life. Well, I always feel better in summer, my aches and pains of winter seem to vanish in the warm weather.

BlueBelle Fri 05-Mar-21 16:32:51

Summer I love love love and spring is gorgeous with all its expectations autumn s ok but the thought of winter coming spoils it for me and I dread winter
I cannot imagine how anyone could hate summer

ginny Fri 05-Mar-21 16:43:03

Summer is my favourite.. I like to be warm and be out and about without worrying about layers of clothes.

Winter is dreary and makes me feel the same.

Bright Spring and Autumn days are ok .

LauraNorder Fri 05-Mar-21 16:46:09

Spring is my favourite, full of new life and hope of better things to come.
Summer next for warmth, long light evenings and enjoying the outdoors.
Autumn for the beautiful colours as everything winds down
I do not like anything about winter.

PaperMonster Fri 05-Mar-21 17:19:58

I love Spring too! It’s the promise of lovely weather to come; I love the daffodils and it’s my birthday!

BladeAnnie Fri 05-Mar-21 17:41:27

I love autumn but love winter too. I'm just not a hot weather person!!

Witzend Fri 05-Mar-21 18:28:43

Must be a bit weird - I like them all! Maybe it’s a consequence of living for years in a climate where there were only two seasons - hot, and absolutely bloody stinking hot.

The only month I really don’t look forward to is January - all the cheerful Christmas decorations gone, and (usually) too early for even the earliest spring flowers.
But it’s hardly ever as bad as I expect, and always gone in a flash.
