an appeal about Wednesday night/thursday morning

My bin goes out on a Thursday evening for Friday emptying.
Wind should have abated by Thursday night.

6 am! I’m not sure that time exists, not been up that early for years! So I’ll have to hope for the best - but I will clean up they get blown over.

I love that folk are now posting their bin day!
As it happens, Thursday is our bin day. Black bin this week, with all the non recyclable stuff.
It's also wheelie klean (sic) day!
Our bin day used to be Friday. It took me about five years to get used to the change...

My bins are at the end of the drive right now as it's bin day today. I'm keeping my eye on them to make sure they don't go walkabout....or flyabout.

It's non-recyclable week so there will be no risk of food waste bags spilling out all over the road outside.

Just looked outside and we're amazed to see that all four bins have been blown from their fairly secure area and are on their sides on the path.
The new, large and heavy garden waste bin had been moved some distance, spilling contents along the way.

We must have had a whirlwind, there is no other explanation.
