Do you smoke? If so do you wish you could give up, or are you finding it impossible since the lockdown, luckily I don’t smoke and have never wanted to,

Never tried it thank goodness, I have enough bad habits without one that will try to kill me.

I started to smoke far too young but managed to give it up before I had children.

My Mum smoked all her adult life and would smoke twice as many as she usually would on No Smoking Day just to "show them"! She lived to be 97

I do not smoke, never wanted too. My Mother was a heavy smoker and the habit really made me feel sick
My Mother also died due to a smoking related disease.

Ages ago now, but I remember dh telling me about going to a meeting where a colleague of his lit up.

Someone else said, ‘You do realise today is National No Smoking Day?’

The bloke said, ‘Oh, good - I’ll enjoy this all the more, then.’

Despite being a non smoker, my dh was very amused - though maybe that was because the objector was a pompous git anyway.

Never smoked . Saw my father struggle and die with smoking related disease. Throughout my childhood I woke to hear him coughing. He said to me " whatever you do don't ever light up " My mother never smoked and did her best to get him to stop. They were very happily married but he left my mum a widow for for 27 years! He never saw his 7 grandchildren , my parents could have had so many more years together. My siblings and I grew up inhaling his smoke . I have always known I would never have a cigarette!
