I just caught the end of the baby naming discussion Fanny.
I think Philippa, after the DofE, might be a problem because it is the name of Kate's sister.
We gave our DD a name often used by European royal families.

Thank you Calendargirl I hope so, but I'm not sure to be honest.

I think maybe people like having a statement to argue for and against.
For example: 'Meghan (or even 'Megan') and Harry - what a pair of manipulative wasters'
Or: 'I'm so disappointed in Harry '

The last thread ended on a discussion about the name of M&H's new daughter.

Wills and Kate met The Browns and the Scottish First Minister. Alex the Scottish salmon chappy is obviously moaning about the first meeting but doesn't mention the second.

I think William and Kate will continue to be balanced. Good for them.

I think that a competition could be in the offing - but it might be a bit early for that.
MrC, who is probably the world's most unlikely expert on M&H (too much Daily Mail, I fear), says that the baby is due in two months time.

We had a bet on possible names for archie’s sister.

Callistemon said aurelia
I said Artemis (being the Greek equivalent of Diana)
Others suggested Philippa Elizabeth etc

I also think Spencer may be in there ?

Majesta a girls name meaning, royal bearing, dignity

So if they choose a majestic, royal name does that mean they want back in? It will be interesting to see how attached Harry is to his past.

I will try to be a good Thread Mother.
I am very much on the fence about most things. I won't comment too much, just try to the thread afloat it on track.

I'll also try to keep away from the 'Gossip and Innuendo' side of things, as that's previously got me onto the naughty step.

Hello, Alex the Scottish salmon chappy here. Well done on making fun of the name, nobody's spotted that before! Lol!

The Strathearns met Sturgron because she's the First Minister, running the country and all that.

Brown is a former politician with no formal position in Scotland, but with an anti independence agenda, who had a private meeting with the happy royal pair that Ch4 were "dissuaded" from filming.

We had a whole thread on it. Seems it was only me who cares. Balanced indeed.
