Judging by the picture on BBC news webpage just now, Boris' son is carrying on the tradition of the hair. smile. Just wish we could have seen his little face.

I think it's a way of not over exposing the child to press photos.
But yes it would e nice to see his little face.

Lucca Fri 11-Jun-21 14:57:36

I don’t wish to be rude , but why ???

Namsnanny Fri 11-Jun-21 15:01:18

Why do I want to see his face? Not rude Lucca, I do t really know, except to say I always love little 'uns expressions!
Maybe I'm at odds with otherssmile

Aveline Fri 11-Jun-21 15:03:47

I thought that was a lovely photo. The hair said it all for me!

Namsnanny Fri 11-Jun-21 15:08:30

Yes Aveline that apple didn't fall far from the tree!!

Lovetopaint037 Fri 11-Jun-21 15:41:38

Oh! Dear. What a thought! Two of them to annoy me.

I think we don’t see Wilfred because of security issues. It’s to protect him, and we should all try to understand that. Obviously it would be nice to see his little face, but we’re not going to because his parents have made the decision to shield him from the press and intrusion, and to keep him safe. The same for little Archie too.

maddyone Fri 11-Jun-21 15:44:44

I have to say I love his golden curls.

JenniferEccles Fri 11-Jun-21 16:45:43

He has had lovely thick curls right from the start, judging by the few pictures released after he was born.

Carrie has lovely thick hair so their baby was never going to be bald!

I too would love to see his little face but I fully understand their desire to protect him.

AGAA4 Fri 11-Jun-21 16:47:44

I am a sucker for babies (pardon the pun) and love to see them but I understand famous parents keeping them out of the public eye.

Ellianne Fri 11-Jun-21 16:58:40

Wilfred's face will not be photographed once Boris is no longer PM, so why should he be now?
It's different for George who will one day be King and his siblings.

I liked the photo, especially the interaction between Carrie and the child. Good on her for scooping him up and cuddling him with a sodden seawater filled nappy!

JaneJudge Fri 11-Jun-21 17:07:52

I'm sure his face was on the news, they showed her carrying him towards the see, front view on unless he had blurry face
but yes, amazing hair smile

lemongrove Fri 11-Jun-21 17:13:38

There was a sideways on photo on the news, he looks very like his Dad. His hair is very cute ( Wilfred’s not Boris’s) ?

Chestnut Fri 11-Jun-21 17:21:44

For everyone who wants to see Wilfred's hair, this was published last December when he was only 8 months old. That is quite a lot for someone so young!

Namsnanny Sat 12-Jun-21 10:45:20

Yes it is an unusual amount for that age Chestnut I wonder if he will be given some sort of nick name by this friends when he starts school?

?? you made me laugh lovetopaint!!
Dont worry he wont be taking up much of the news when Boris is no longer pm.
Something for you to look forward too.

Me too AGAA
I've turned into one of those older ladies who used to stop me as a young mum to talk to my toddler!

FannyCornforth Sat 12-Jun-21 10:59:54

Re Boris's hair
I'm convinced that he is quite bald up top. The cheeky boy tousling is just a cover for a comb forward.
He takes his hair from the sides and back to create a sort of hair roof over his bald top bit.

vampirequeen Sat 12-Jun-21 11:02:00

It seems that BJ is donating his hair to Wilfred for as the child grows more hair the father is losing his.

If he's not careful he will end up like the second photo grin

Namsnanny Sat 12-Jun-21 11:07:59

Well, it is to be expected in a man of his age.

FannyCornforth Sat 12-Jun-21 11:17:17

Namsnanny

Well, it is to be expected in a man of his age.

Just to clarify (I seem to be doing a lot of this recently) I was not criticising not passing judgement
I mention it because up until recently it has been believed that Johnson's tousled hair was to add to his faux bumbling, upper class twit / nutty professor facade.
That the way he styles his hair was an affectation; rather than done for more pragmatic and practical reasons

maddyone Sat 12-Jun-21 12:04:27

I prefer BJ with hair than without though, however untidy it is.

vegansrock Sat 12-Jun-21 12:28:42

But we can see his little face can’t we?

eazybee Sat 12-Jun-21 12:37:00

I don't recall that we saw many photographs of the children of previous Prime Ministers but undoubtedly someone will find a photograph to prove me wrong. I can't pretend to be bothered one way or the other; it is the parents' decision and I think the Press honour it.
