I’ve just seen a moron ( sorry - young woman ) pass my house wearing a t shirt with the words ‘COCAINE AND CAVIAR ‘ on the front.
Is this a sign of the times ?
How about some suggestions -
Perhaps

CHAMPERS AND SYPHILIS or
BOLLY AND HEADLICE.

I think I remember when t shirts were invented (the Armed Forces wore them ) and the only logo you saw was on the telly if someone in prison had numbers on their back.
What do you think ?

Some are amusing though, my DGS had one on the other day that said A [ha] the element of surprise.

Infinity2 Mon 19-Jul-21 15:58:48

That’s a good one ?

SueDonim Mon 19-Jul-21 15:58:54

I don’t think anything of it. I don’t have to wear such items and I don’t much care if anyone else does.

I don’t give a monkey’s toss about people wearing t shirts, it was the catchy slogan caught my eye ?

One of the best ones i have seen had a dog on the front licking it`s backside.
And the slogan underneath it read " i can`t believe it`s not
butter " .

I'm quite a literal person, and have realised that lots of people don't read or think about what their T shirts say!
And yes, I remember the way T shirts went from undershirts (Streetcar Named Desire) to proper items of clothing.

timetogo2016 - I think that is hilarious. I’ll see if I can buy myself that one for Christmas ?

Nannarose - yes I remember Stanley (?) as in Marlon Brando mooching round in his undergarments ❤️

I hope I don't offend, but a friend wore one inherited from her child which said:
'Jesus loves you, but I'm his favourite.'

There was also the one:
'Please speak slowly; natural blonde.'

How about ‘Eat more Cake’
Skinny people are easier to kidnap.

I’ve seen one with with:
I’m not arguing, I’m simply explaining why I’m right. ?

I bought one for my husband that reads:

'I am an engineer.
To save time, let's just work from the assumption that I am always right.'

It suits him wink

Hmm wondering if I can get away with this
Many moons ago, in America, I saw a T-shirt that read
'let go of my ears I know what I'm doing'
grin

I saw a very young couple in town, he was pushing a pram with twin baby girls dressed beautifully all in pink. He was wearing a black t-shirt, on the front, in sparkly pink letters "I`m the Daddy". I thought it was lovely, he looked so proud.

I bought a khaki green military looking vest t shirt with a u s prison name on the front and a number on the back when I was 17/18 my Nan was horrified and begged me not to wear it of course I took no notice
Si inappropriate slogans were around 60 years ago

My son had a tee shirt with the picture of two men in a canoe.
The slogan underneath read, "paddle faster, I hear banjos."

It always made me smile.

Billybob4491 Mon 19-Jul-21 18:40:28

I saw a T shirt recently it said "I'm with stupid" underneath was a big arrow pointing to his companion.

gmarie Mon 19-Jul-21 18:54:06

Love this one. smile

hollysteers Mon 19-Jul-21 18:54:14

Never go out with writing on your front.
I had a T-shirt with the designer’s name on the front in tiny letters. My sister was appalled and clutched her pearls.
It went to the charity shop ?

Love it!

One that amused me said, ‘I SUPPORT NEW ZEALAND - AND WHOEVER’S PLAYING AUSTRALIA.’

Needless to say, worn by a Kiwi.

I love my “a woman’s place is wherever she wants to be” t-shirt.
