It seems that all the major supermarkets have turned to plastic tubs of chocolates.
Although I know a couple of years ago John Lewis had a pick what you like favourite chocolates which came with a metal tin.
Any info most wellcome

Getting concerned about the American takeovers, has it changed the recipes for all Cadbury’s chocolates, Boots is no longer stocking or making many products is this what is waiting in the wings for Morrison’s. American companies seem to promise all and deliver nothing if the first two are anything to go by.

In a similar vein, Cadburys used to do chocolate nuts -- brazils, hazelnuts and almonds -- in a nice tin at Christmas time.
They were gorgeous, really thick chocolate surrounding a whole nut, but I haven't seen them for a while. ?
They still do tins of chocolate fingers, though, I think.

For Cadbury's chocolate itself, I have heard that the only product still using the pre-Kraft-takeover recipe is the Flake bar. Apparently the flaking process doesn't work with the new formulation. Yay!

I bought a tin of After Eights in Waitrose last Christmas. Unfortunately they were so tempting that they didn’t actually make it to Christmas Day!

i know it is not chocolate but I have seen Liquorice Allsorts in tins
I remember when I was a little girl my gran bought me a tin of toffees in a gorgeous tin with a kitten on the front, I loved that tin and the toffees I made last for weeks! Tins like that are so lovely.
I think I have seen tins with biscuits in in Marks and Spencers
