'Panties' and 'hubby' are both high on my list too. I don't like 'ladies' when used by patronising men (usually men anyway) and particularly when used as the feminine version of 'men'. I'm a woman unless they are gentlemen! (I don't mind it when used as you have done, MissAdventure, as I am becoming mellower with age )
Anya, if your boat is not floating, why get into the water? There are plenty of us these days who seem to be avoiding various threads because they don't appeal to us. Perhaps you could leave those of us who are floating to get on with it.
