As I was about to leave home this morning I heard an almighty crunch - I looked across the road and my neighbours son, driving onto the road, had somehow crashed into the wall damaging the wing of the car. His father, who was gardening, shouted at him, there was a terrific grinding of gears as he put the car into reverse and he suddenly shot back at speed .......... and into the front of his father's car! As I, carefully, drove onto the road I saw his father with his hands to his head and a look of total disbelief on his face!

A friend of DS1 was backing out of the drive in his sisters car but put the car into first and drove into the back of his mum's, which drove into the back of his dad's, which drive into the garage door

Ouch. Reminds me of the time I reversed into my neighbours car blush

Luckygirl Thu 16-May-19 16:06:05

Many moons ago my DH reversed the car into the garage with the door open - the car door!

sodapop Thu 16-May-19 16:22:41

Oh dear sunseeker the boy is going to be paying that off for a while. Did make me laugh though - sorry neighbour.

Nonnie Thu 16-May-19 16:52:33

Poor chap, the fist bit panicked him, he will never live it down.

DH always had his name on the insurance of both cars (man thing) until he hit one car with the other and the insurance wouldn't pay out! The car was on the drive at the time.
