When was your last cuddle?

DH wasn’t a cuddling person, but by the time the children came along he had changed, now we hug often, just a walk across the room and he’ll give me a hug.
Why not be the one to start changing? Just walk across the kitchen and give him a quick hug before you give him a cup of tea or something ?
It’s never too late.

I was just thinking that this morning as I had disapproving Victorian style parents.

Most mornings when we are just awake, but never during the day. No idea why - just habit perhaps. Neither of us came from very demonstrative families. Still looking forward to the next GC hug.

Practice on the little GC's and then on good tactile friends and your animals - and each other. Change the habits of a lifetime, it's never too late to show how you feel. Just go for it. Everyone needs a cuddle.

Other than grandson, I'm not that bothered. There are benefits to being an introvert.

cant remember .our family was never ones for cuddling .suppose a hug was from a church person .when she said you so uptight ......just the way i am . i hug my grandchildren to make up for it ,sometimes my daughter but she just the same she wont let me hug her ,though others do and this hurts.

Yesterday, my eldest daughter in the morning and her sister in the afternoon. We’ve always hugged and kissed each other.

I love a hug, always claim one wherever I can and always give one too whenever I can.

She is far more huggier than I am

I am a very tactile person. One of my daughter's friends once told me that I should sell my cuddles "cos there the best"! I love a cuddle. Today I went back to work after being off sick for a while and my lovely colleague Julia put her hooded jacket on back to front with the hood over the front of her face and we had a really lovely cuddle.

we cuddle all the time,when one of us is leaving the house even into the garden,when we pass in the hall.in the kitchen while we're waiting for the kettle to boil.My daughter used to pull faces and laugh about it when she was growing up ,then she grew up and wanted a relationship like ours .Now she thinks its amazing we still smooch dance round the sitting room in the evening or cuddle and hold hands in the street .45 years and hoping for many many more .

New year's night when I said goodbye to DD and SIL because they flying home to Belgium the next day.
My elder sister and I were talking about childhood the other day and we agreed that we could never remember being kissed or cuddled as children.

Cuddles from the GC but the other type of cuddle from the person you love most in the world - I can’t remember. What would I give just to have a comforting arm round my shoulders. It comes as a bit of a shock to realise that once you have lost those who gave you unconditional love, in my case my parents and husband, you will never be as important to anyone else and that’s quite a lonely place to be. (Especially at 2.30am when you can't sleep flippin’ well sleep ?)
