I’m beginning to feel sorry for Prince Andrew.

I never thought I would say this but I am genuinely beginning to feel sorry for him, after today’s revelations by Virginia Roberts. Everybody is entitled to a private sex life and as long as it doesn’t hurt children or animals, then i feel you are free to do what you like. The more that comes out, the more I feel it is a vendetta against him not Epstein. Do we need all the sordid details? Does it make any difference to the ongoing case? Love to hear your views from behind the sofa.

Haven't seen them!

GrannyLaine Fri 07-Aug-20 17:58:12

Hope you picked up your tin hat on the way Bluebellwould
FWIW, I'm inclined to agree with you.

Chewbacca Fri 07-Aug-20 18:11:16

Is this about him bursting with ecstasy? Bleurgh! Don't wanna know.

trisher Fri 07-Aug-20 18:16:31

No it's not a new statement it's something that has just been released and apparently was in her book. Perhaps if he had gone across and given evidence the details would not have been made public. I see though that someone has said they remember seeing him in the nightclub and so he couldn't have been in the Pizza place. Perhaps the funniest statement is the rejection of this claim 'Because it was 20 years ago and who can remember what they did then?"- Well not PA anyway!

BibiSarah Fri 07-Aug-20 18:17:36

Yep. I could have done without knowing that.

It’s just such a graphic description you see it in your mind as your reading the words. There isn’t even a 3 second time lag for you grasp at in the hope of preventing yourself from seeing it.

Do I feel sorry for him? No.
My sympathies are with his victims, HM and his girls.

Ellianne Fri 07-Aug-20 18:17:52

I'm beginning to feel even more sorry for his daughters. They could do without all this.

Haven’t read any articles - only really seen headlines. Sleazy.

suziewoozie Fri 07-Aug-20 18:20:12

If he were a witness to or a participant in the sexual abuse of trafficked young women then no, he’s not entitled to a private sex life . He’s a spoilt brat who thinks he can do what he wants with impunity. He’s also a complete waste of money and space.

maddyone Fri 07-Aug-20 18:29:13

I don’t really like a Prince Andrew, because I think he’s a self entitled and arrogant person. I admit I’ve never met him and I don’t know him. My impressions of him have been formed from various news items about him over the years.
I do feel sorry for his daughters, who whilst part of the aristocracy, seem to be pleasant young women who go out to work.

BlueBelle Fri 07-Aug-20 20:42:16

Please can I let everyone know that I am BLUEBELLE and not Bluebellewould as I completely disagree with what she has said
I despise rich men who take advantage of young girls and I don’t care if they are princes, kings or multi billionaires They are scum and no I don’t feel sorry for him AT ALL he should get off his axxx and talk to people if he’s innocent if he’s not he should be inside

Whitewavemark2 Fri 07-Aug-20 20:45:51

I feel sorry for the women that have been exploited for all those years.

Anniebach Fri 07-Aug-20 20:52:32

Strange to despise rich men who take advantage of young girls, money seems the root of much of this case. Abuse of any young girl is vile , it’s abuse carried out by fathers, grandfathers, uncles which sickens me .

The person who claims to have seen him in Tramps that night,
had a glam photograph in the press, she remembers the
look of Giuffre’s face, the FIBI are not taking her allegations
further.

TrendyNannie6 Fri 07-Aug-20 20:53:15

No I certainly don’t feel sorry for him, why on earth would I

dinks13 Fri 07-Aug-20 20:56:36

Yes, I definitely feel sorry for him.

sharon103 Fri 07-Aug-20 21:02:24

I agree with you Annie.

merlotgran Fri 07-Aug-20 21:04:07

I feel sorry for his daughters. They certainly drew the short straw with their parents.

Bluebellwould Fri 07-Aug-20 21:14:36

I feel very sorry for Virginia Andrews and the other exploited girls and the horrid situation they were exploited into. I can also despise PA and others of his ilk, but I can also feel sorry that every intimate detail is coming out now. Surely it is enough to know that he (supposedly) had intimate times with the girls. What use does it do to anyone that how he had sex with any of them actually matters. Does it change anything other than to embarrass him and his daughters? He has not been charged with anything yet, other than be a pompous, arrogant and boorish man. I do not condone his supposed actions in any way shape or form but he is being pilloried by public opinion before all the facts are known.

mrsgreenfingers56 Fri 07-Aug-20 21:17:40

Well he wasn't called "Randy Andy" for nothing.

Anniebach Fri 07-Aug-20 21:19:20

I have doubts about Giuffre, possibly she worked with Epstein
and not for him.

MerylStreep Fri 07-Aug-20 21:30:54

Am I sorry for Prince Andrew. Absolutely not. He's nothing but an oxygen thief. That's a term I use for people who give absolutely nothing to the world. All they do is take oxygen.

grannyrebel7 Fri 07-Aug-20 21:38:31

I've met him. He came to my office about 12 yrs ago and he was quite arrogant and rude to my boss. Perhaps he was the one that got Fergie into the toe thing in the first place! Definitely TMI though smile

Jimjam1 Fri 07-Aug-20 21:53:51

No. I do not feel sorry for him. His victims yes. His daughters yes.

NotTooOld Fri 07-Aug-20 21:55:48

He's lucky his daughters have turned out well. They are the only good thing going for him now. Not so lucky for the daughters, though.

Anniebach Fri 07-Aug-20 22:01:56

He accompanied both daughters down the aisle
