Traumatised?
You mean it was a bit unpleasant.brew

Hi flyinghandbag Cold tea is disgusting. I like your 'tongue in cheek' use of the word traumatised! Know what you mean. But I wouldn't like microwaved tea either as it would cook the milk. How are you feeling in the hot weather. Hugs as always.

Gordon Bennet!?

Have to confess DH is always making me drinks and I forget and leave them to go cold, then slurp them lukewarm or worse so as not to hurt his feelings. Actually, cold coffee isn't that bad! ?

BlueSky Mon 10-Aug-20 11:11:26

Flying (iced) cold tea and (iced) cold coffee are great in this hot spell! grin

MiniMoon Mon 10-Aug-20 11:11:35

Ugh!! Cold tea is revolting.

Make another cup FlyingHandbag.

My late MiL used to take a cup of tea to bed and leave it on her bedside table to drink if she was thirsty during the night. She actually liked cold tea.?

FlyingHandbag, I can drink cold tea..
I'm forever leaving my mug down and forgetting about it!

The boiling water tap is great for topping up tea which has cooled.☕

That only works because I leave my teabag, Tetley Redbush, in my mug, not everyone's taste I know!

'Fraid so. I once worked with a lovely lady that when the conversation got this bad she would say has anyone seen the price of eggs in Tescos cracked me up every time. I use it myself now but only within the family ?

BlueSky Mon 10-Aug-20 11:50:27

Flying is a breath of fresh air in this doom and gloom! smile

Charleygirl5 Mon 10-Aug-20 11:58:42

BlueSky I hate to say it but hot air springs to my mind.

BlueSky Mon 10-Aug-20 12:00:01

Hi, I may have been a bit overdramatic with the use of the word traumatised, but I am quite a drama queengrin. I have been OK, but then again, I don't really feel the heat. What about you?
Hugs to you too. X

Oh my, that's absolutely ghastly! The milk goes all slimy. I actually thought I was going to be sick when I drank it this morning. X
